Isn't that the point of the ability? To catch kiting classes? The point to fix is that using pounce leaves the WL out of range which is not intended.by this change there would be no reason to have 2 rkds on order cuz well...WLs now could catch these OP gamebreaking gobbos
Nothing of consequence here it seems.Oh God, yes. Please don't touch Pounce unless you plan on doing something with order's ranged KD on rDPS classes (100 ft on BW, 65(100 with tactic) ft on SW) and destro's on mDPS (Marauder's requires disrupt, WE's requires Bloodlust and has way shorter range).

Ok thats fine if reworked or tweaked to work in that nature its fine by me

Cause that's what many wls are using it for; jump in if **** hits the fan just jump back out for ez heals with no level of tactical though put into it, and quite frankly no class least of all an mdps should have that lvl of mobility atleast not on a 5 point ability
The class has flaws, problems, issues i get it, then those should be addressed but pounce should be looked at because it is simply too good

I would be okay with a range reduction but not a cool down. And like I've mentioned before, I think Pounce and FO should be switched in the tree.

Pounce is a really cool ability. It's one of the few pieces of their kit that you can point at and say "this makes WL worth playing". Fetch is the other one, if your kitty can survive long enough to find someone. There are lots of things to fix about the WL to get them buffed into a state where their pet works well and they're a formidable medium armor DPS. Having a spammable gap closer that can take you across a battlefield in a few seconds is insane. Even if you cut the range to 30', make it a 15pt ability, and double the AP cost it would still be an abused skill used as a gap closer and escape tool. I will jump all over the "Fix the White Lion" bandwagon, but that has to include taking a serious look at Pounce and what it should be used for.

Um...so the people that do play white lions must be wrecking you guys. I usually see BW BW SLAYER KNIGHT SLAYER SLAYER WP WP WP AM AM BW SLAYER SLAYER BW BW SLAYER ENG SLAYER ENG ENG BWin almost every sc. I do see one WL here and there ( I can probably name 3?). I love pounce :X stop whining about it, Wl's were average in t4.

Core: Staggers and Root are now their own type of CC immunity independent from Punt/Pull.
Knight:
Core problem is their ability to be a scaling force multiplier without really have to do jackshit.
>Dirty tricks
10% crit for your entire group when you block, including your healers, which is rare... if not nonexistant for other similar tactics.
>Focused Mending
15% increased healing for everyone in a in a 100ft AoE around you. Aside from its already absurd amount, it includes non direct healing... something similar tactics don't do, and make it one of the single best tactics in the game peroid. Not to mention it also effects heals recieved by your group from out of party sources
>Encouraged Aim
Makes everyone 30ft from you 10% more likely to be crit, this tactic transcends your group and helps out everyone nearby, even a full WB.
The thing is all you have to do is move the crit tactics up higher so a real choice has to be made, and change focused mending to 10%. You can at 40/50 have all three of these in a build, and it was sad that picking up 3 tactics from 3 trees was more important than going after 13 pt abilities.
And that's the thing about knight... its mastery tree is **** awful/boring, and there is really only 1 playstyle that is promoted, as DPS/2h spec is virtually nonexistant.
Swap out the terrible AP tactic in Conquest tree for the generic 2h tactic that gives 10% damage and 5% parry. Buff myrmidias fury to actually be usable, even if its just a dramatic base damage buff. Add the "deal increased damage to targets under 20% HP" modifier to arcing swing, so our one and only GS ability has something other than a gimmicky opener ability that will always live in thunderous blows shadow even if it is AoE. Change unbalancing attack to a 5 sec CD, reduce the AP drain to 25. And then you will have a psuedo ravage and decent ele damage rotation if you decide to pick up mighty soul.
Knight is currently the most passive/boring class to play, nerf the stuff that makes them #1 (their passive stuff / tactics), but breathe some life into the class with active buffs and reworking totally useless skills.

and if the class were buffed and/or fixed would you be willing to allow pounce to looked at?
