Still don't know if forcing the fight to a single zone is a good idea, time will tell.
The rest looks fine, considering the upcoming reductions on BO timers and door regen.
Thanks for the changes, both the ideas and implementation, 2 steps in the right direction.

No haha. Someone else.Tiggo wrote:it was frad, im sure! he killed 4 order wb with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse.
I guess my point was that:
- Good premades look for the zerg. They love fighting against larger numbers. I am sure 99% of these premades will roam the lake securing BO's against larger numbers.
- Bad premades follow their zerg. Which is ok, since bad premades are nothing to worry about. People shouldnt' fear them.
- A premade of 5 lvl 26s and a lvl 6 SH wiped a whole wb. This is the wb's fault. At some point they HAVE to learn to assist, attack the correct targets (some order guy kept shouting "kill the BlackOrc!! kill Grulo!!!" lol), kite, etc. Once they start learning these things, people will stop complaining about premades that much.
Re: Changelog 09/09
Github posting a video of aoe through walls being worked on. The structure and dynamics will change once that goes live :X I can't wait.

That will be way better far ahead, when everyone is at similar level and gear.Penril wrote:No haha. Someone else.Tiggo wrote:it was frad, im sure! he killed 4 order wb with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse.

Unfortunately, it is easy for a party of 5, 6 well geared 26s to wipe almost a full wb of lower levels, the power difference is too high, even if it is the wb fault.
But it is ok, things will balance out in the future and it won't be that easy for a group to wipe a higher amount of players.
I say we focus on RvR first, and opening up the rest of the game.
For now i'm happy with the changes! Good job!

i think its the best measure to prevent zone trading. i people have the choice to log out or stand in wc without any rewards or fight in one zone, i HOPE they will chose the fighting instead

Re: Changelog 09/09
@dkabib: Saying we only killed lowbies would be a lie. Yes, i chased the occasional level 9 soloing the lake (Twyxx didn't want me to kill them, but i say: Sweep the leg Johnny!). However, specially at Morr, we fought a lot of lvls 22-26.
Re: Changelog 09/09
Keep in mind that the bolster is not working up to 26. People without max rank not only have a gear disadvantage, they are weaker by default.
Dying is no option.

I agree with Morfree on the matter. I would hate to see it happen that our devteam gets a burnout and the whole project wil stagnate just because some people act like spoiled brats and demand changes when things do not go their way. Advice channel, on Order at least, reminds me of some sort of dramatic soap series at times.Morf wrote:Yet to check out how it works but this is definitely a change in the right direction.
Big tnx to Aza who has to code all this, i wish all you whiny **** would understand the effort he and the other devs put into this ALPHA project and hold your tongue once in a while.

I'm not saying Destro is any better, but Order /advice is very annoying to read (I can't get past 10 without deleting there). Destro has its moments, but overall it's more of a fun/"funny" environment, especially when Renorka's husband, Github, is online
