Another reason to support this.

that was the case cos they made the gear redundant cos of the new gear and fast progression. Here the situation is different but the game and the environment is also quite different and they justify moving away from the grind. When ppl refuse to cooperate cos they grind atm there is something wrong \mostly at the ppl themselves\Penril wrote:If i remember correctly, that gear was sold for gold anyway in 1.4.8, all the way up to Worn Sov.
Oh yes, I remember how much people loved that. It took sooo long to farm tokens, your RR could get you the next tier of gear, but you couldn't buy it cause of stupid tokens.Penril wrote:From patch 1.4.1: (http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/Game_Update_1.4.1)

Some ideas:
BO's should be worth 1 medal a take, 2 in AAO environment.
Keeps/Zone flip should be worth 2 medals base, and additional medals based on BO takes/defenses/kills made by your party etc... To discourage realm swapping at the last moment and AFKing, and actually participating in ORvR.
Kills should have a 25% chance to drop medals, but only on level 26 players, chance should be increased in an AAO environment to ~50%.
The AAO/Underdog environment should not be so rewarding that it overshadows "winning", and creates an atmosphere of perpetually playing the underdog to abuse RR/medals etc...
