Stop with your self-entitled attitude (OP). You are not paying a sub. YOU ARE A TESTER!
Anyways, you'll see, once we hit T3 this kind of unrest will go down dramatically.

The Realm Balance Scale does not take into account Level. Think about that. T1 counts as part of that number. It's not accurate nor should it be used exclusively to claim realm balance. You are basing your argument on a flawed source of information; therefore, your argument is flawed.Sulorie wrote:It is ridiculous that some people still fail to see the differences.
As order was superior both sides were server-wide balanced but destro preferred to guard mailboxes, because they sucked. It was a self-made problem.
After the last patch people changed sides, because of a flaw in the reward system, resulting in server-wide imbalances.
Those are two pair of shoes. Don't mix them.
I'm not sure why destro had such a hard time getting it's sh*t together the past 2 weeks, but it's clear we did and Order did benefit from that. I just don't think that wiping progress that destro made once they did get their sh*t together is going to encourage them to even try again.
I said it before and I'll say it again. Changes were made to force the smaller faction to have to fight the larger faction in ORVR because the larger faction was claiming and complaining about the smaller faction "avoiding the fight" and "going where they (the larger faction) was not to farm empty BOs and Keeps. And Order, when they were the larger faction, seemed just fine with those changes. But after just one night of Destro being dominant and order not being able to mount a defense, and **** gets real... Devs use the way-back machine and wipe progress.
Why didn't this same type of wipe occur when T2 was released and Order was very dominant and farmed for the T2 inf gear more easily than Destro? Remember that?
You can't have it both ways. You can't game the system so that, knowing you are the dominant faction, the dominant faction has the clear advantage and then bitch and moan when you become the smaller faction and are marginalized in the game. You have to learn to accept that sh*t isn't always going to go your way.. wait.. I guess it does.

Really dude? You forgot that we had double their numbers on population? Did you forget about the 70%/30% imbalance?order not being able to mount a defense

Double post but maybe but wanted to say
Az just add medallions to the loot table everywhere for player kills so we can earn them just like on live via scs and open world roaming. Just gotta be mind full of kill traders and honestly everything should work out

Re: This is ridiculous
I love how he continues to call order the dominate faction.
Destro has major advantages that order does not.
Order has majors advantages that destro does not.
You clearly need to find what those advantages are.
After the debacle of the other day my friends and I have begun retooling our chars and level correct alts to swap into our group make up.
It's becoming clear we can just goof around and run with Joe blows random group of what ever and be successful.
On Volkmar we were the rock that destro normally found itself having to tread lightly around, the raging inferno that our bright wizard centered guild brought broke a lot of keep sieges, and held off destro from freely flipping out keeps until aid arrived.
When we switched sides and fought for destro we all switched rolls and played ALMOST exactly the same way. Guess what, it worked just as well.
Maybe you should start looking inward at your own failings before you start making wild claims of complete imbalances in favor of one side

Yes, it doesn't take into account T1. And that's even WORSE for your argument. T1 is likely the only reason that ticker didn't show 80%/20%.

You didn't get anything together, though, that was the point. What you did was PvE for PvP gear and it worked better than anyone on the staff had realised it would. Destro won engagements and the crossrealmers realized it would be faster and easier for them to roll to the winning side to smash empty keeps than to try to fight.
I said it before and I'll say it again. Citation needed! It wasn't changed because one faction was complaining about the other avoiding fights, it was changed because BOTH FACTIONS were avoiding the fight - as there was NO POINT in fighting.
Also, do not leave out the fact that the conditions were different on that night, because RvR had just become worthwhile. I know it's convenient to your argument to present it in that way, but you gain nothing from it, because what you've failed to say will be pointed out immediately by people who respond to you
Why didn't this same type of wipe occur when T2 was released and Order was very dominant and farmed for the T2 inf gear more easily than Destro? Remember that?
Show me tracker data that indicates a massive realm imbalance from that time, and then show me how you're supposed to farm for that gear in such a way that you fully prevent the other realm from doing so as well.
The difference between then and now is in reward rate, realm balance and method of delivery. This issue provided such a great rate of reward that people were done with the addition of RvR sets in a night of intensive farming, with the realm balance numbers the worst we'd ever seen, and with the method of delivery being PvE for PvP sets.

Re: This is ridiculous
That needed to be fixed. No one really wants to play the game that way, but literally hundreds did.
