Emblems for Scenarios

I don't know how much it's been discussed but I was hoping I could get an idea of how we came about the 1 emblem for 400 -500 pts in a scenario while the losing side gets nothing.

Most scenarios I've been a part of usually sway in one direction or another almost completely to where one side is getting annihilated.

Can we get 1 scenario emblem per 100 pts that we get in each scenario? That way it's a bit easier getting the scenario weapons and we get nothing for being in a bad scenario.

Thanks for any input.

I think it used to be 1 for a loss, and if you won you got a cluster of emblems, that I think ran from 1 to 3 emblems? I might be wrong on that last part though.

I like the idea of zero for a loss... or maybe only one that everyone can roll on and then nothing else.

The original system in RoR was 1 emblem for a win, 0 for a loss.

I think the rewards system was changed to 1 for a win (500 points) and the chance for one for the losing side based on their final score. Its something like up to 75% chance for 400+ points. I'm not sure of the real figures.

The reason for this was to address the situation where once a side was clearly out matched they'd sit in their starting camp and ride the rest of the SC out. They saw no point in feeding Renown (and potentially gear/emblems) to the other side when they'd walk away with nothing at the end anyway. This new system gives even the losing side something to fight for. Even if they're going to lose the SC they still have a shot at an emblem if they score some points. The more points, the higher the chance.
