wtf is this ****

no wonder your called old player cause your ideas are outdated as ****
As an old player (UO) you should review your courtesy. People like you are the server plague, who want leveling 25 chars, zerging and spaming the AD channel with no respect.

A timer is definitely required ! Exploiters will ever exist.

The only way to solve cross realmers is put a limit of population in every faction, then if theres a difference of 10% between factions, the faction with more players gets locked, being able to log only in the other faction.

You get to keep your Order/Destro characters you are leveling, but you make it fair by restricting faction changing.

Quoting my post due to end of page. I think this system should be put in place by the devs because it's a great solution.

Any solution that won't force people to invest/waste time into just one character will lead to Xrealming as optimal attitude for the game of 2 realms is joining the realm that wins. Having 2 characters is therefore optimal.

If you do not agree with the attitude of "Grind is a must", may I kindly suggest to contact our developers for a 2nd server where everyone has 26/30 and top equipment automatically for every character. After watching similar servers die in many other projects, I will gladly watch how will it fare as RoR Martyr's Wellfare.
[Your offer will probably be refused due to time reasons and also due to the fact it will obviously lack enough population.]
26/30 and same gear for all -- 0% grinding and 100% pvp 100% fair fights -- u would meet me there

We can't uniquely identify people, so all someone has to do is make two accounts and bingo - bypassed.

I posted this on another thread, what do you guys think?

The more characters you have from the same faction at a certain RR level , the more bonuses you get.

Marvel Heroes has a similar system, where you get like +5% Xp account bonus for every character you have at level 60, up to a max of +200% i think. In RoR it could be something like this:

- 3 characters at max RR level (30 atm) on same faction: +50% Inf/renown/XP for any character of that faction you have on that account.
- 6 characters at max RR: +100%
- 9 characters at max RR: +150%
- 12 characters at max RR: +200%

These bonuses would only apply to the faction of the characters you have at that level. So if i have 6 order characters at level 26, i get a +50% bonus on everything applied to all my ORDER characters in that account, but not to destro.

Would this be incentive enough to stay on one faction? Will suck for x-realmers like me who like to fight the zerg. But if AAO is implemented it would compensate for it.

Ok, according to what Aza written, it seems there is no solution for heavy realm vs realm imbalance. It is not caused by game, but by some players behaviour.

I suggest that we have just stand that imbalance for destro for week or two until all X-realmers will get theyr gear/renown or whatever and than they move to order and do the same. It can take from 1 to 3 weeks, but after that situation should go back to normal state.

Just get over it is the only solution possible. We cant delay T3, rvr sets or whatever, because solution is light years away.

Im not so sure the problem u describe about losing players after a wipe is directly linked to xrealming even tho it may happen here and there.
For me players just dont want to pvp, they are happier to take undefended keeps and rather play for points then to play for the fun of pvp'ing.
These same players are usually the ones who complain about class imbalance and throw cheat accusations about.

Just earlier order capped STK and our group of 4 undergeared and underleveled players decided to try get some action as the zerg of 60+ left STK, zero, yup not 1 of the 60+ zerg decided to engage even tho they all saw us and could of wiped us with ease , they decided to storm back to the wc with no doubt the idea of taking an empty keep in another zone.

The mentality of most of the players here is so **** bad.
