Two-Handed Blackguard

I'm a Blackguard and god damn it I'll play it the way our overlords at GW intended me to with a halberd in my hands. That being said, anyone have any tips on running a 2H build? I rarely see people running them so it'd be interesting to hear from those that do.

Here enjoy your lack luster and second rate "mdps" enjoy being destroyed by rdps and not having the longest kd in the game

2H would be viable if the KD also had a chance to proc off of parry, or if BG got a cavewin equiv. Crimson death should also have its debuff increased to 10 seconds to reflect similar 10% group crit mechanics on other tank classes (knight).

I feel 2H is very viable, I feel like Chosen and Black Guard are the best DPS tanks.

On black guard you lose you kd which is the longest one in the game and all you get for it is a crappy 5s crit

On chosen if you go 2h you cant use destined for victory which is one of the best tactics in the game

What you lose going 2h outweighs the "benifits" you gain

You're trading it in for damage mainly and I think that's fair. Both are viable.

As for Chosen, I would never run that tactic.

Thanks to fact, that non of your dmg abbility doesnt stack with your hatered level like Ironbreakers skills does and thanks to fact, that you deal only physical dmg and cannot buff your weapon skill like ironbreaker does, Your have to stack lots of weapon skill in higher tiers to make your dmg noticable. So You have to stack strengt+weapon skill and not much room to stack defensive stats like wounds or toughnes.
You dont have great weapon mastery tactic to increase Your dmg like Swordmaster or IB.
Not to mention You will loose knockdown and AOE snare which is high in SnB tree. You will end up with knocback and root with not even 50% dmg outpoot of real mdps class.
