I find SWs to be both heavier hitting and more survivable. Having played both I noticed a much easier time with the SW, though the SH looks WAY cooler and is more fun in general. (But all Greenskins are insanely fun)

It's a really fun class in 1v1, group or warband. It will not really be an uphill battle, for that you'd have to pick up a Magus.
Hmm, very interesting. I actually forgot about that tactic entirely. I kept thinking to myself, "If I didn''t have to constantly resurrect this pet, this would be ok". Thanks for the refresher on that tactic, that would certainly help. What level does that come available? I did level a SH to rank 5 yesterday (I leveled four different classes to rank 5-6), and the SH did already have an ability that stripped armor. Not sure how much of an impact that would make, or whether or not they might buff that ability in the future to bring it in line with the continuous armor boosts?

Well, I definitely appreciate the feedback. I am still not settled on a main. I am loving just testing the waters on multiple characters. I hate to say it, because I know everybody hates them, but I had the most fun on a bright wizard. Next I will try out a sorcerer. I played Order for my entire time during retail, and because Order seems to be more populated here, I was hoping to go Destruction, but I am still entirely up in the air where I will land.

Sh might get frustrating because of that pet and how buggy it gets. But once you get used to it that pet can do some very good damage

Pick what you like so you don't end up with regrets. The tactic isn't even available at the moment it will be once T3 is open which should be soon. You get it at 31. Sorceror is almost a copy of BW. The armor debuff is good just with armor potions and talismans it takes away from it. With sorc/Bw you don't have to worry about armor just people cleansing your DoT's.

The biggest issue is the armor cap or lack of an armor cap vs 40% resist cap then dr hits and it hits hard. I don't even think if you focus stacking resists you could break 60%

Armor on the other hand is "capped" at 100% but in reality people were stacking over the cap to cut the armor debuff down in effectiveness
I think I was something like 1000 armor over the 100% cap on my wp before my account got lost by ea when they merged the login info.

So yea, healers will be stacked heavy in d and you'll be running for your life from guarded medium armor dps. Or just pounced on, life looks pretty bleak for you little guys

Bombing or zerging casters are better. However assisting with 10s backloaded rotations isn't effective.

So most other situations SW/SHs are much more desireable because of assist plus superior survivability and mobility

Armor cap is 75% and you stack to 90-ish to have 75% debuffed
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

Also, exploding squigs. It never gets old, it never stops being entertaining. It's none too effective unless you're squig's about to die and you're miraculously in range to use the skill, but it's still great. I send them into the T1 WC after players who hide behind guards and explode them to ruffle those Jimmies. Also it's great to remind yourself they're exploding because of farts.
