AM+SW kite away, kill BG first(verry quickly), than mara. Hands down.

AM+SW means verry variable kitting CCs. If mara gets pull, than A) catch SW - SW self punt+snare mara and BG
B) catch AM, AM will AOE knockback. Both will result AMs AOE snare on the ground and perma snare for BG from SW singletarget snare.

You cant kill what you cant catch. Ranged Duo is always better than melee duo.
Except the BG can catch the AM no problem. And then proceed to absolutely murder it. 100% disrupt on a BG is an extremely easy feat. Along with infinite AP and +30% movement speed. I've done this. And let's face it, a SW isn't going to kill a good BG either. Dots? Whatever. My M1 clears it away, heals me, and gives me AP. I catch you when you mess up kiting, and you die. My main, and essentially only thing I ever played, was a BG. Badlands server.

Every duo is going to have some kind of weakness, but BG+mara has a bit of everything.

Both have sustain, maybe not the best but it is there especially if there is a heal involved for the mara to leech off of. The setup has 2 already hard to kill classes and guard. And unlike certain combos like tank+dps DoK/WP they cannot be kited to death thanks to pull and just the BG ability to chase in general. And the DPS is quite good and the classes debuffs compliment each other well.

Well it seemed like it, but of course I was exaggerating, they could easily hold one warband up for quite a long time. They did have the benefit of insane gear, of course.

I'll remember to [/sarcasm off] for you in the future.

All that aside: WP/IB combo is insane.

No, it just tells a lot about the average pug on their server, when a WB can't kill them in seconds. ;)

I think Sorc + Zealot can be amazing! ^_^

.....now just to find a good Zealot to duo with

I also like Sorc + Shaman (Sticky feetz is fantastic for a kite duo). I'm a bit bias when it comes to Sorcs tho.

I also like Mara + Chosen and Mara + BG, both make a fun combo. I occasional duo roam with a Chosen friend on my Mara.
