Well I'm seeing some use Nerf Buttons and it's basically a 1 button class for them. This is the best and most viable mara build
You stack your debuffs, then switch to brut and use impale + giouttine
You are very strong but the class is not as easy to play as other mdps like slayer/choppa

You can chain everything in one macro, when something's on CD it just moves to the next skill. But I'm sort of anti NB lol, so I will always recommend people should not use it.Coryphaus wrote:I use NB but only for death grip and gut ripper

yes marauder just happens when ur in orvr. you will be out taking a cas stroll then some nasty chaos dude smash u to the ground wave his arms about and just like that you are dead and thinking WTF just happened there as he runs off in to the trees

I think DEEP meta when you play mara comes down to changing your rotations slightly depending on the situation (cleanse wise) as in using certain abilities before you usually would or using abilities you almost would never use (1x rend) to bury certain debuffs even deeper. Mara being one of the only classes that has the luxury of having so many debuffs in number and variation that it is on its own allowed to bury things so deep they will never get cleansed in a realistic amount of time. And when it comes to those debuffs they are the strongest in their class.
If you look at the builder cory linked you will also notice that literally every ability and tactic in the mastery tree is solid or VERY good, which is why the class is amazing. Then you look at the tactics you do take.... and they all scale **** amazingly allowing the class to go from good to #1 in the game.
That makes it sound like its really hard to do :^)
