New to Squig Herder, share your knowledge!

New to playing a SH (and RoR), but not Warhammer. Any tips/tricks/wisdom would b hot. (kyboard litrally just brok so that lttr is missing atm - sorry)

Also, I hav noticd that ordr playrs hav somtims had mor constructiv obsrvations on SH than th actual SH playrs hav, so if you play ordr and hav somthing to say about SH, plas don't hold back!

Thanks!

Well, I don't know much, I did have a SH 40 at live, but didn't get too far being an Order player.

What I think, is that you are a very good kiter. And maybe you should go for that, with the spiked squig? Run Away tactic makes you a hell of a good kiter.

Order players hate SH because they got pets.
SH players hate pets because they are buggy as ****.
Pet's hate existence because their AI is a brain-dead mess.

Basically what mag said, squig and white lion pets are just....BAD

I'd just stay away from pet reliant classes for a while cause thier so fickle

Reroll and be happy!

The squig life is a painful one, especially as armor values rise.

Kiting is great. Try strafing and firing at people chasing you - it takes practice but is a great skill to have.
Great for roaming solo or 6v6 fights.
Heal debuff is godly.
Battle Squig is hilarious with a great 360 degree knockback. I still remember running a 4-melee squig group one time in Battle for Praag on live and wiping Order at the centre flag (before they realised we were squishy as f*** and pushed us to spawn haha).

However:
No ignore resist tactic for whatever the equivalent of Festering Arrow is (Poison Arrer?). Not a huge deal, but it just doesn't make the 3s cast time worthwhile.
Pet AI sucks.
It is only worthwhile attacking clothies and Medium Armours. Even with an armour debuff damage dealt to tanks is pitiful and that's assuming you don't get blocked by the sword n board tanks.

Personally, I prefer to do damage to ALL enemies, rather than anything that isn't a tank, so I rerolled to a Sorc after getting the SH to RR80 on Live.

All my opinion, of course.

Thanks, Abo. Opinion it may be but it is a constructive opinion. I had a sorc during live, and I definitely feel what you're saying, but I am new to RoR and my team asked for a SH so I am trying to deliver. Will probably roll an alt sorc or tank once I catch up to them.

Learn to kite. I've been annihilated by many a SH.
