Channeling

For the love of all that is good and right in the world

PLEASE DISABLE THE DOUBLE TAP CANCEL

I never know if skills are being used when the game starts lagging and it ends up killing my channels. It's pointless, and punishing people for no reason.

What you mean that if you click or activate a channeling spell twice, it gets cancelled?

Yea if your using a channel ability and activate any other skill before its finished it cancels the channel.

I hear lots of people are having a problem with this.

why shouldnt it cancel the channel? i would hate it if it didnt?

If you want the channel to end use another skill. Using the same channel ends it prematurely.

This is an issue I think mostly with DoKs/WP maybe a few other class.

Sorry I don't use nerf buttons to auto play my toon, so the channeling problem is quite annoying.

Why should anyone use dok/wp channels with NB? Get serious.
Dying is no option.

Lag. Even non channeled abilities get delayed, some times a lot.
My Doombolts sometimes become 6-7 seconds cast time abilities :cry:
So, if you start channeling something you used 1000 times and you "feel" the timing of it, if it lags you could start casting the next stuff too soon and cancel it. Even worse, when spells are meant to be chained in a rotation. 1-2 seconds lag = rotation becomes useless.

why not block the disable for 2 sec after channeling start that way should be possible using it saftly in lag, disable totaly the option cause problem with hold the line.

Uh, there are situations when you have to cancel the channel right away, 2 sec is too much. Way to cancel is needed indeed, but isn't it better to remove cancel on pressing the same button only? Then it would be possible to cancel channels via hitting escape or different ability.
