Client download issues and troubleshooting

@lilcindylouwho it could be just a bug we all get it from time to time you press the connect button it does not gray out but just stays the same and moves u nowhere the way me and my guild fix this is by just closing it down and opening it up and trying it again and again till it works (takes sometimes 2 times other times it takes 50)

well trying to get the game to work.. i downloaded the torrent put the ror launcher in the file and it wont do anything at all.. tried to run the patch.exe nothing.. just fails and then tried to run the actual game and again no joy.. it says use the patch.exe which says a bunch of jargin i have no idea of what it means.. so umm.. why dont you guys just release an auto install exe via torrent and be done with all this crap down load rubbish which doesnt work.. and the fact it dont work with chrome is just silly as every one pretty much uses chrome these days.

so yea.. based on my fails with the game do you have any solutions.. it says close the already running warhammer online before i tryt o launche the game... i dont have another version running.

I would point to the thousands of people that currently have the game installed, and then back to the tech support forums where people go when they have problems. It's not a simple process, it's the best we have currently, and for most people it works.

You need to use the RoRlauncher, not warpatch.

so i downloaded the game via the torrent and it wont run.. something about closeing another instance of the game if its running and freeing up hd space.. well their is no other instance running and ive got a whacking 123gig space free so umm not my problem.. so how do i fix this.. ????? the speedier we solve this the less likely im to just file it under B and play summet else.

it says to put the ror launcher into the file folder near the WAR.exe and launch from their.. that then says error.. please run the warpatch.exe which then says it can not error please close any other instance of the game and free up hd space ... there is no other instance running and i have more than enough space.. so what gives ??? im doing it right its just not working how they say it should.

I have read 29 pages of posts and no one seems to have the issue i do.
I downloaded the torrent, using the torrent program suggested on the thread. I downloaded the launcher. I moved the launcher from my downloads folder to the game folder. I disabled read only. i ran the launcher as administrator and it came up, i entered my credentials and clicked connect. nothing happens. no error message, no crash, nothing. the forum button takes me here. the connect button takes me nowhere.

if anyone has had this problem, please let me know how you fixed it.

i have this exact same problem and i have no idea how to fix it. that makes two of us.. thank god its not me lol
