Cannot Log in: Connect Button Broken

Any word on what's causing this and/or if it will be fixed? The "staff" doesn't seem to communicate very well.

Chances are, we've already made a post about it and get tired of repeating ourselves.

If you open the launcher, click connect and nothing happens, close the launcher and try again. This started around the same time the DDOS attacks peaked.

Same problem here. Tried to run it as admin, same problem. Tried it dozens of times, too.

I enter my credentials, the connect button turns grey, and nothing. It worked earlier this morning for me, though.

I found during the installation phase I vaguely remember that I had to right-click the folder and set the folder attribute off of "Read-only". When I go into my folder the "Read-Only" attribute is turned on again for the folder (and all sub-folders). Every time I turn them off something forces it back on.

As a noob to this sort of thing, I don't know if it is related, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Which folder are you speaking of? Can you post the path for it here?

Guys. keep trying it to run, it will work a some point. if connect button doesnt go grey after clicking it, close and repeat until it works.

this is not a solution my friend.
i've closed and retried more than ten times, as admin. still nothing.

The whole folder is is. I'm a friend of Kelfin4life and it's the same as myself. ive gone into the folder made everything non read only. Then the folder as not read only and it still doesn't load. Tried getting in today and states incorrect password/username. I have reset it and as you can see I am using the right username and password but it won't log onto the client. i know the sever aint down as players are in it as shown from the front screen.

If you reset your password, it can take a few days for the server DB to update with it. So now you have a different problem to wait for.

For fun, make a new account and try again. Also, don't change your password unless you plan on taking a break from RoR.

The folder path that I was speaking of is available in "Step 3: Are your files set correctly?" link that Wargrimnir's post is. I was mistaken in thinking the entire folder needed to be out of read-only. Just the WAR.exe needs to have unticked Read-only.

The game works for me now and I can log in. So thank you to the admin team for resolving /help resolving the issue and I hope everything can get back up and running for everyone else.
