My IP blocked at forum

An entry on the blacklist may have several reasons:
1. You are a well-known spammer.
2. Last time a well-known spammer was using the dynamic IP address which you got from your ISP (Internet Service Provider), your e-mail address or the username you have choosen.
3. Your ISP is well-known for a lot of spamming customers and is not fighting against spammers enough.

This happens yesterday with my home ISP (I'm at work now)
What I can do with it?

This happed outdoor with my smartphone. Had to re-enable my mobile Internet to get a different IP to make it work.

i had the same. after i installed a antivirus (Kapersky thx dascoub and that killes like a dozen adware and malware and bots it now works again. ^^

No seriously, I have no idea how it affects on spammers but it seriously affects me. And I'm not spammer!
I'm using Comodo Internet Security, checked my comp with Norton, using firewal at router and "Secure Internet" Yandex DNS service

My ISP gives to me dinamic IPs and I have no idea who else using this IP before: maybe true spammer, maybe just part of botnet.
But this is NOT ME!

I still have an ability to unban my IP manually, but they can restrict it because this IP will constantly banned by this services.
So what I gonna do after that? this will mean ban at forum? But for what reason? because someone at my ISP are spammer? Really good reason!

I NEVER experienced such problems NOWHERE! Only here! Maybe this SPAMHOUSE services are not too good?

Even TOR doesn't help, because all of this IP are already banned by spamhouse! ><

Silver, it's not your first post i find you quite aggressive with staff member and the project. Keep calm please, i think you don't imagine why such systems are present here.

Everyday, if we wouldn't have this protection, several thousands of spam posts would pop. Yes, thousands.

So yes, sometimes, there are false positives.
Yes, sometimes you (like others on the forum not specially complaining) cant post.

The system is quite simple : on almost each user action on the forum, the website asks several spammers database if the IP/username/email and other specific things are listed as spammers in their db. If yes, you have a message explaining you why you are blocked.

This website have nothing to do with your blocking, except using this system wwhich is essential for every RoR users. If we remove that, forum will become so unreadable that nobody would come here anymore, and we would have to close the forum...

So, if your IP is blocked, just reboot your modem, and thank your ISP for not being able to give you a fixed IP, and to have spammers as costumers.

But maybe you'll add checking not only IP but username too? Does it possible?

Du hast von 3 aber sicher auch keine statische IP. Wenn du den router(webcube?) reconnecten lässt wirds sicher wieder gehen?

But tecnically this counts as user ban, you know
There is no IPs spamming this forum, but users
So, maybe, you'll add simplest captcha in registration form?
There is a lot of free solutions: http://www.captcha.net/ or https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html
And force users to captcha every post untill they'll got 20 posts counter

Yep, i could add a 2 verification system on IP+username so that chinese IP spammers will be able to spam here, because they use random usernames...
