Common Sense: You can't position yourself behind your target or even at their side through feinting if you're 65ft away. It just isn't going to happen.

It's a game, I don't see the point of your common sense argument when you can come up with some bullshit to make it work the other way. Mechanics should be the only consideration, and you can do the fluff later. Balancing because of lore or fluff is just wrong imo.

From the way the tooltips read it's pretty clear to me that there is a designed interaction between the two skills.

Can any of you prove it, one way or the other? Because what I'm getting, with a LOT of skills, is that I implement X, someone bugs me for implementation Y, then I change it to Y, then some other people else pops up saying it's actually X and it gets old. so. very. fast. The report is at https://github.com/WarEmu/WarBugs/issues/1741

As for common sense, it's just an additional reason why FP + SS / TD on live might have been changed.

So yeah... I'm not going to do anything about this unless someone comes up with some evidence.

That is a horrible mistake i think. Sticking WE/WH to the idea of killing during stunlock and making , for example, Inquisition/Confession build even less viable than before. Extinction of viable builds makes game less interesting...

Rename ability to "Remove positioning" and your common sense argument disappears.

Missed the point. This wasn't changed because of any whim of mine. This was changed because a player posted a report on the bugtracker, stating that FP wasn't working as intended with Snap Shot.

how much more do you (plural not personal) plan on gimping the stealth classes in this game. You just took out the ONLY way we had of catching a kiter. Really getting disheartening. Every time some newb cries cause their rdps get killed by a stealther, the stealther gets gimped.

So if some random person on Github says it shouldn't snare with no proof that its? It's intentionally changed?

I played a WH pretty late in the game, after RR100 was released. Was in T3 when RR100 patch dropped. Leveled all the way up to renown 100 over the next few months and Snap shot snared from any angle with feinted positioning activated. It was the only way to catch strafe kiters.

When I started playing WH on this server I used this combination out of instinct because it was expected behavior. Unless there is patch notes from live somewhere stating it was changed after I stopped playing (probably 6ish months before game shutdown) FP+Snapshot was working to snare from any angle.

My two cents.
