it was no design decision telen. it was pure desperation out of technical reasons.

the lag destroyed the whole server and with it the population etc.

It was desperation... I remember the fortress fights... it was basically a slide show of all the pretty colors of AoE spells until either the server died, the lord died or you died... in whatever combination of the three.

Wood does not help if there is noone in the keep who could use it ;)
There is no chance to make it from a warcamp to the STK in 90 seconds.

This. I can't remember, how many times our WB's, fighting for farthest BO's at Reikland -took the zone, and couldn't walk into fortress zone, cause of the casual players, standing right on the border, between Reik and fort, waiting for the zone lock's renown :/

I continue on the line with the only good thing there was in gw2.

Proportional door and lord

If Lord and door hp stack proportionally with attackers ( if it's hard doing that so aao) that would make keep last longer.
I think that it should be required 5 min for door and other 5 min for keep lord at least.. Under those time it's impossible organize a def. Also we lack the 5min to re-steal back the keep.

BUT as long base keep function work fine there is no need to fix it now in the current state of the game, better fix other base game function. Like partys (sc partys sometimes dont show you) and renow.

Main 1st what keeps need it's bullet-proof walls I mean no oae spam throgh walls. Now make lords more fat for what? For gives time oae spamers to come? About what this suggestion? Yes we take empty keeps with zerg for 2 min cose we can't take it at prime time It's unreal cose there sit 3 fat dwarfs and spam 3 oae buttos.

Adding 2-300% hp to door would be an improvement and an "announcement" as it is first attacked (don't think there is one)

Trading empty keeps is such a fail

EDIT: no more broadcasts :)
