Before ror... weapons like spanners were in the dwarf catagory. These were usable by ib and slayers as well. However very rarely they ever had strength on them. It seems every spanner that drops is a str beast. Now that the engineer uses bs for its spanner swipe ability.... that means this monster str goes towards their up close aa onlu. I would ask for a change in either the stats... or who can use it. I remember seeing several ibs running around with one and it just looked cool.

Or I recomend that staffs start coming with str on them.. not intel...as that would be balanced.

The spanners had str on them on the live servers too. Changing useless stats on items is something the db team is working on. But it requires time and will probably not be done for every single item.
