[Shaman] A Shaman fix

The game was not originally designed to stop at Level 32. Thus there will be certain classes that greatly benefit from a Tier 3 ceiling and others that get punked since the metas are not uniform. The DPS Shaman is one classes that greatly suffers from this arbitrary ceiling. By having to spend 6 points in the healing Mastery to acquire Sticky Feetz there is little left for damage or utility. At level 40 this is not game breaking because more Mastery points eventually come into play.

I would like to propose making Sticky Feetz cost less Mastery points or just make it an acquired ability at a certain level. I don't think moving it to another Mastery would help since it would nerf an already underperforming heal mastery.

The Shaman is already well understood as a 3rd string healer (Behind the DOK and Zealot) and sub-par DPS. A fix is highly recommended.

There are many things wrong with Shaman/Archmages, and Level 32 will not be the cap forever.

I assure you, there is nothing wrong with an AM, not even close. I play AMs too, its a dominating class. The really good AM players know exactly what I am talking about.

Shaman on the other hand has significant problems at 32. I have to admit that Level 32 will not be the cap "forever" because well.... that's a fairly long time. I am not entirely convinced that RoR itself will be around "forever" dontyathink?

YES. Even one of the balance moderators called it a "useless class". Perhaps its time to make it useful?

There goes any credibility you had out of the window.

About the change, its not needed and just extra work for now and extra work for when the cap is raised to revert the change.

So no.

To be fair, making the puddles core sort of makes sense.

There is no good spec on either class that doesn't run the puddle, it is an absolutely mandatory ability because of how strong it is and it uniqueness.

Making the puddle core and swapping it out with another ability then reworking said ability into a new mastery ability for the healing trees opens up possiblities for brining their heal specs in line with WP/RP/DoK/Z (a long with the inherent buff of having puddle core). That is again assuming WP/RP/DokK/Z aren't brought down to the AM/Sham level instead of buffing shaman/AM.

Then make the shaman inc healdeubuff not trash :^)

Making puddles core only makes Dps am/shaman better, letting them have puddle and spirit/ele debuff while having the healdebuff, it does nothing for healing am/shaman, they still ahve to go up 13 points to get funnel and DSU.

So really, i see no point in it, its just a buff for the solo am/shaman and an extra point for thhe healing spec that they have not much use for.

Besides, i am certain Dok/wp will be brought into line sooner or later.

Yeah, losing your group heal sounds a fair trade!
