fine fine, you win the argument
but whenever I think of AoE healing I'll think of DoK/WP heal that really has nice AoE heal close to their position, speccing high to Path of Vaul to get Energy of Vaul and using the EC tactic is still somewhat less commonly sighted.

Re: [Archmage] How to heal
Fury of Da Green/Energy of Vaul has superior healing numbers compared to DoK/WP by quite an amount, though. To the point where I think it's broken if you consistently have targets to hit.Aurandilaz wrote:fine fine, you win the argument

maybe I'll try this:

Usually I just spec heal tree to max for bestest heals, but if there are lot of enemy pets around to target, those lifetaps might become more desirable
Re: [Archmage] How to heal
Its not about pets, 4+ targets with EoV is 2k+ heal for the target and 1.5k to the group.
This comes with reduced range compared to heals (80 vs 150 feet) and a mechanic requirement, besides requiring targets.
I am still running my stupid full int build, sometimes i get stuck into isha and have reduced healing values but as long as i am controling it properly, is not an issue, also having the ability to pop out a 1k+ searing touch is nice when your group is bursting someone down.
We were supposed to get an item with a high cd that would change our points from Tranquility to Force and viceversa but then we got into the dok/wp changes, i guess they will revisit am/shammie later down the line.

Re: [Archmage] How to heal
This is my build right now:
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=am; ... 8:;0:0:0:0:
Too low rr to get EoV, I find the Silence to be mandatory for me.

Re: [Archmage] How to heal
You should not need Wild healing at all now that all healtaps are coded as normal heals and thus can proc restorative burst.

RoR.builders - Archmage
I guess this build would work, switching between hurried restore and arcing power

Re: [Archmage] How to heal
Welcome to Shaman, which has no Wild Healing or any alternative...shaggyboomboom wrote: Ewww restoburst...
That being said, when juggling the career mechanic AP costs are no longer an issue and with restorative burst you can keep going forever if you have ~20% healcrit. At least in that regard, experimental mode has been kind to both Archmage and Shaman.

Re: [Archmage] How to heal
MI need a slight boost for a long cd and situational usage, a 25% increase incoming healing on the target while the shield is still active, that will make it usable at anytime.
I am more keen to debuff healing over silence, it affects all incoming heals from multiple healers and silence only stop 1 healer.
