well, the issue with morale bomb was the same as this, chokepoints...
You have to enter that door aka you have to place your sorry ass in that meat grinder.
If you cannot defend/avoid it makes little sense to me. sure you could pack so much aoe healing and pray, but is it a strategy or wishful thinking?

Guys could we avoid the conspiracy theory?
If devs wanted to mess up destro we would not be able to play, sure, you might think they are more subtle (cunning yet brutal as one our gods thought us), but really. They would slowly but surely lose their player base and the project would die.
Now that does not mean that every piece of balance they test is perfect, but don't go that far.

Getting back to the point, the morale bomb and mara aoe overtuning are good examples of necessary fixes, same might be said about the slayer's skill combo we mentioned here.
In case it might need some fixing (especially if it is currently abused)

Mara AOE was overperforming, holding in mind all utility mara have. Moralebomb dmg was OK, but still got nerfed due to pugs crying. Is slayer combo overperforming? Dont think so, but it makes the same issues as morale bomb for some players (*Undefendable* coordinated dmg). I put undefendable in * *, because its as undefendable as morales were (U can avoid both by spreading and using disturbing tools).

Destro still winning 75% of Cities despite this terrible game breaking ability and the Dev's being against them, they must simply be better players to keep up their record despite all they are up against, it's the only explanation.

We are talking about chokepoints, places where there is no room to spread.
If you get stuck in chockepoints in city most times I would say you are doing something wrong. Overall, I would say this is not a city issue. Yes, if you blob and get melted there that's on you (l2p issue), just spread out and avoid being butchered.
Regarding the disturbing tools, in such narrow passage which ones you would advise and what is their range?
I do not think devs nerfed morale due to pugs crying, but because there was an issue with narrow passages like fortress/keep door.
