Warhammer Online RoR: RSS Feed / Web Services

Hi Guys...

There are many forums and websites following RoR, I have one of them in the form of a social netwrok http://friendsofwar.com

Would it be possible for you to create an RSS or ATOM feed for the following suggestions:

1. New Players
2. New RR 40's
3. General News
4. Player Stats

Maybe even a web server like SOAP or REST?

RoR cannot be shut down legally - I don't feel that there is much harm in promoting it and creating more traffic for your website.

You have already stated that you will not be providing anybody access to the SQL database:

Maybe you could provide restricted access token:

For example:

1. Provide permissions (Connection Rules) for SELECT Queries only, no CRUD operations
2. Restricted access to specific tables (GLOBAL)
3. Query Limit

Maybe you could just give a few people access to the database, I know that I would be happy to give you admin rights on my website as I have stated before?

Any help would be appreciated, I am sure that the community would love that:)

Bare in mind that Official War did provide some of these things to third parties and therefore it is in fact part of the WAR culture...

Maybe Mat (The EA Dev) could make a few suggestions on how this can be accomplished, he is quite helpful on my website and has provided me with good feedback

Once again a post for partially promoting your website...

We haven't the project to add such components, mainly because of security breaches it might implement. To be honnest, it's completely impossible to give a DB access to anybody, even trusted person, and even with limited access.

The only solution would be the use of Web Services, but it would cost me time to implement, and as said before, with possible security breaches.

As far as i know, only your website would use that, so if we have maybe 15 websites asking us for such components, we'll start to think of it. Not before.
