Good point, hadn't thought of that. We could make exceptions for those, but then the system would be getting excessively complex.leftayparxoun wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 12:25 pmgeorgehabadasher wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 11:55 amA simple solution for that would be to only allow BoP items to be returned.leftayparxoun wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 8:26 am
Might be wrong here so feel free to correct me.
Since the game doesn't seem to track who bought/dropped an item (only to whom it's bound), wouldn't this allow for sharing/trading War Crests across characters?
Step 1. Buy Vanquisher Boots on one of your characters with War Crests
Step 2. Mail/Trade it to someone else
Step 3. They refund it for the War Crests you paid.
That would still bump up Gold bag rewards to 200-300 War Crests (trading in all non-gloves/boots Vanq pieces given)
And around 600-800 War Crests for Fort gold bags by trading in Invader pieces.
Alternatively, they could remove invader/vanq from gold bags again, instead lowering the cost. Putting Vanq/Invader in gold bags was nice, but it's very subject to RNG. Allowing people to sell their annihilator/conq back might & lowering the overall cost might make up for removing set pieces in gold bags while also reducing the randomness of gear progression. Not sure whether reducing randomness is a good or bad thing necessarily, but it's an option.
