Agile Escape / Declare Anathema

To make ROR a bit more fun for WE/WH is it possible for the dev's to get the Agile Escape ability for us WE (and WH) at an earlier level? In WAR live you'd get it at a very high level (L39 or L40 if I'm not mistaken). Squigherder and SW have a same ability but they already get it in Tier 1. Also a Lockpick fix would be nice ;-)

I'd like to see this too, the WH/WE are struggling to gap close or escape at the moment with the changes to the Stealth calculations (although I love seeing a WH coming from a mile away on my Zealot, I also feel rather sorry for them :P).

TBH now I think about it some more, I still have no idea why the classes with the best range in the game and countless other kiting/CC tools got given this. AE/DA were limited to WE/WH for a reason, then somebody got stupid with "balance". Turning the historic WE/WH escape tool and gap closer into another ranged dps troll tool at level 12 compared to 39, and AoE snare compared to nerfed single target stagger or knockdown - awesome.

What I'd like to see is this ability REMOVED from SW/SH and left as-is on WE/WH.

I never really understood why on live they gave the only gap closer WE/WH have to RANGED classes... Risk, reward balance? Not so much when the melee have to chase the ranged while getting shot full of arrows and when they finally catch up they just use the self punt and aoe snare (which was a combination that alot of WEs/WHs used back in the day, except they had to throw a snare potion while knocking themselves back to achieve the same thing...) Just doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever...

+1

This is honestly our equiv of charge and it is extremely frustrating playing WH atm unless you have a guard bot and group behind you.

I agre with giving self punt earlier to WH and WE, but not with removing it from SW/SH. This is because SW/SH have a few short-range skills as well as a melee tree (viable or not, that is not something to be discussed in this thread). So self punt helps them a lot with the "get in, do your thing, get out" playstyle. Maaaaybe change the AoE snare to ST.

Yes, self-punt on SW/SH is OP and annoying in 1v1 but... well, you know...

We all want more of our toys it seems. Do we/wh players think they are100% in need of this ability now at the current level in t3?
