Ways to liven up PvP? A killboard/war reports

Since the beginning of this game I always thought it would be nice to have something akin to Eve's killmail system, where each death is logged in detail, such as who participated in a kill, in what way, where and when. Unfortunately, I don't think proper implementation would be possible through addon system, only through parsing server logs, and I assume it would take a lot of dev time that could be spent better.

What could be done with an addon is a way simpler war reports system, a tool for importing results of an instanced PvP event, be it a scenario or a city, and uploading it to some dedicated service for all to see & rave about. Way we are doing this now is crude, limited and unreliable, it being (mostly) 3 screenshots sorted by 3 columns thrown in discord.
What I have in mind is an ingame addon to parse end results and export them out of the game, and tiny companion app/client that would upload those results to some server, not unlike wardb client back in 2009.
What I don't have is skills in LUA & war interface API, or intent to learn them. If someone is able and interested in having useful pet project, I'm willing to bankroll a server to host it.

I am truly impressed and grateful that this got implemented, and have another suggestion: have instance results imported to a common place at the end of each city or scenario, so people don't have to take separate screenshots sorted by 3-5 columns — many discords I am in have some sort of "City Results" channel, where people are supposed to post city screenies, and it would be so much better to have a single link to post in there. When I imagined how it would work, while working on my own implementation, the report page had separate tabs for t1/midtier/t4/ranked SCs, and cities; in each tab there would be a list of instances sorted by time/date, with things organically sorted in sc tabs, and grouped kinda in city tabs.

I have a crappy implementation of that in a form of addon that exports instance results, but it is never going to be finished; killboard being implemented reminded me that I ever made this post, and seeing my ideas implemented makes me happy at the heart that I don't have to implement them myself :>
