Xrealm lockout timer

Hello readers!
Maybe this topic been on the wall before.
(i havent browsed the entire forum yet so this might be old and already discussed throughly )

Suggestion: Forcing a lockdown timer for (20-24?) hours for that realm you logon into.

To clearify: If you decide play another character on the other realm - you can, but you are then forced and stuck on that realm until the lockdown timer has expired.

This action is to prevent xrealmers to swap side when the opposite side has the realm advantage.

For the 502nd time; this is a free to play alpha game. You can make any number of accounts you want and simply have 1 for Destruction, and the other for Order. Putting a switch timer on one account would only affect a minority of xrealmers for the time being.

No hard feelings by the way, I just had to counter this suggestion so many times before with the exact same argument. Xrealming is impossible to stop in the game's current state. Sad but true~

Ppl still think their faction loosing because of pesky Xrealmers
And if they will made 1mil hours lockout - the problems will gone and players will be forced to fight THIS side.
Not.
Most of players just will go for offline or to ANOTHER account.

Xrealming will never stop but stuff like working siege/oil and working posterns could in theory help alleviate the problem a bit. I don't know if it's possible to change the AAO bonus but increasing the value could also help mitigate the issue for now.

The only X-realmers I know switch sides to fight the zerg, they hate zerging and switch to a different toon to gobble up the delicious AAO. Creating a lock out timer is stupid, it will actually make the problem worse for a short time as all the x-realmers remake toons on another account.

You want to get players to defend keeps, you need to make the reward worth the risk, at the moment if a zerg is attacking a keep its better to run around in small squads with guerrilla warfare tactics then it is a full defended keep. Defending a keep means the zerg gets better rewards, and makes the keep fight less boring than if they wasted their time beating on an empty keep door.

The problem is also the pulling through walls.

If you defend you get sucked out and slaughterd and when the gates are down you get sucked through a wall into the massacre..... in t2 you could hold keeps with 60-80% AAO now the the numbers beat the quality.

Deactivate mages/engi rifts near keeps for good defences again!

I know that everyone who made a toon just for this will appear on the Forum and whine.

Make a poll on the side, i am 100% sure the majority wants these abilitys not usable in keeps!
A few people have fun at the costs of a lot of people sufferung under it.

When your zerg gets destroyed, they don't switch sides. They go play Fallout 4. Stop trying to strap your numbers to your side. Yes, it's been suggested, um, quite a bit. kkthanks for the thread.
