IB has a pretty strong 2H spec.GodlessCrom wrote:Are there even any tanks atm that benefit from a 2h spec over SnB at all?

Re: 2H Tanks: 9001th thread edition
I've also heard/seen 2H BO's doing pretty legit burst damage.
Never did play an IB so I can't comment, but being the "mirror" shouldn't 2H BG be good too then?

Re: 2H Tanks: 9001th thread edition
BG lose their 5 sec KD if they go 2H, and get crimson death which is a gimp version of either of the knight tactics.
BO can do that "legit burst damage" while using a shield

Re: 2H Tanks: 9001th thread edition
not really as IB get their longer KD from 2H while BG get theirs from SnB. BG also has to run up its SnB tree for AoE snare while IBs is lower in the tree they use to get outgoing Heal Debuff tactic. So BG is kinda forced into SnB while IB has option to go two handerDreadspectre wrote:I've also heard/seen 2H BO's doing pretty legit burst damage.

I would add BG can get the AP cost increaser / detaunt immunity, which is great for killing robe healers if you pair up with another dps do KD / snare for you. It is a different playstyle, but it has some nice tools.

Re: 2H Tanks: 9001th thread edition
I mean really it just sounds like 2H weapons need to have their DPS increased dramatically.
This would transfer over to increasing 2H MDPS builds as well which....is maybe a good thing? Haha.

Re: 2H Tanks: 9001th thread edition
Maybe a rework of the Focused Offense Tactic?
Make it something like:
When wielding a Greatweapon your damage is increased by 20-25% but you lose 15-20% armor?
Basically a bit better version but only available to GW users so SNB can't make use of it.

Re: 2H Tanks: 9001th thread edition
I agree with what you say, except the "longer KD from 2H" part. Wasn't Cave-in nerfed on live from 4 secs to 3? Isn't it 3 secs in RoR?Tklees wrote:not really as IB get their longer KD from 2H while BG get theirs from SnB. Re: 2H Tanks: 9001th thread edition
Only sm and IB I guess? But then again sm was designed from the ground up to be a 2h class as an mdps
Chosen with rending blade applies CS in AoE but RB is a 25 ft frontal cone but blast wave is 20 ft in 360 so it's almost as good at applying cs
Kotbs drop DT for an meh wounds debuff
Ib gets an on demand reliable kd but IB still has access to all it's strong grp buffs and stuff
Bg gets a niche role as melee train assister with crimson death but it's not worth it until we get the duration changed back to 10s
Their is no real benifit to going 2h on BO bar dps spike dmg and style points

Re: 2H Tanks: 9001th thread edition
It's 3s on 20s cd with scaling dmg
It's just on demand cc vs ibs block based 3s on 10s cd
