if you'd read the tooltip of SoD you'd find the explanation for this my friend...deals x Spirit Damage. you want it to be morale dmg?Kok wrote:3)It did however get migrated by spirit resistance
calling swell of gloom bad is even worse than speccing SOD over ID. if it would crit it would be ridiculous op. the tactic adds an additional 100% tooltip damage to your Gloomburst. calling this bad is beyond odd sorry. the tactic is a 100% must have and something which grants the sorc an edge over the BW in terms of ST burst - therefor she lacks utility.Kok wrote:Why Swell of Gloom is bad?
1)It don't crt
2) It do scale with int however but also migrated by toughness
3)It also get migrated by spirit resistance
4) So in T4 (assuming 900int against toughness 238(squishy, max resis)), you will hit approx 438x0.6=262.8dmg
5)However THE MAIN 3 REASONS IT IS BAD (i) IS You get hit for 750dmg for that....
6)YOU NEED A TACTIC SLOT
7)YOU NEED extra 4 SPEC PT TO SPEC FOR IT.
it has an requirement, deals mediocre damage and is really nothing you can rely on.Kok wrote:Why Echo of power?(It is not a must have, you can leave it and spec other things.)
1)It crt and It scale with int, (It did get migrated as well)
2)It instant, you can cast on the run
last but not least: Infernal Gift is mediocre when playing ST. Whether does it proc on a regular base nor will it affect your own damage. As confusing as it might sound to some people: the sorc is the best pug killer ingame. that's why you optimize your own one shot potential instead of getting a buff you really can't rely on. hence why you want swell of gloom.
