I really agree with the OP on the need to get more people to use the debolster system to enter T1-T3.

I think some of this issue will be addressed once the devs get client control ready since they will be able to offer more rewards in the way of new items / skins, and by stream lining the debolster system. While it is not difficult to debolster most people won't even try because it is not instantly easy. Laziness! Ha!

I personally would like to see T2-T3 folded into to T4 a little more to give more map variety.

Which could be a possibility if a full pairing T1-T4 lock was required to unlock fortress or city sieges.

There are a lot of ppl that have played this games pve content to death on multiple chars some years ago. I was under the impression that this project was about recreating the better parts of warhammer online and improving on those. Instead of it being a leveling simulator to unlock abilities.

Yes I know you are doing this for free, and we are all thankfull for that. I just think that the forum moderation is a bit too cautious/ wack the mole atm. Sometimes opening up to different viewpoints can empower ones mind..

everyone in this server had grind their first toon. used rest bonus, waited weekend rvr etc.
You need a lot of patience in T4 rvr. if you don't have it to endure this small price of boredom( in your view ) it's good time to build patience for future.
Take time to learn rvr changes in this server, how to operate siege weapons, supply lines.

Right now I am learning those mechanics after spending 4 weeks? On lvling to 40. And I am learning them on t4. And it really only takes ne or two zone locks to grasp the changes to the old live version.

I like the idea of appearance items, that is something I would grind for, say put Warpforged appearance on some kinda extremely high influence bar and force even t4 folks to debolster to try and get the appearance gear

Been saying it for months... host server-wide debolster days by increasing medallion drop and renown rate in t2/3 zones for 24 hours at a time, once a week. Will bring massive fights to otherwise abandoned RVR lakes and allow low leveled players a chance to see what's waiting for them in t4. win win

that's a bummer to hear, because my best memories playing WAR was t2-t3. I would actually make new toons when they reached t4, just so i could play t2-t3 all over again lol. If its possible, maybe disabling some of RvR zones that will drive more players into fewer zones?

It has to be more of a consistant thing. Something that warband players do 2-3 times/week on warband off days. Pretty much the same as solo quing SC's when you got nothing goin on. Or that was my original idea, for it to be more of casual ORVR thing. Just spiking the population 1 day/week isn't gonna make it alive imo.

In previous thread that got locked, I suggested tying the end game earning to T3... because people have currently incentive to focus on T4, because that is where you earn best gear. But if you have possibility of slightly earning rewards in T3 that help you in T4, then you have incentive to go there. (stuff like partial Conq medal drops, "shards" the same Ruin shards drop)

Another idea is that after all 9 T4 zones are locked down, T4 has "peace" for 24 hour, where people can either do Scs, or they can continue the fight in T3. With hopefully the possibility of earning decent renown and somehow earning towards end game gear with "conq shards" while doing midtier pvp.

One my current main issues with avoiding T3 is that.
A: respeccing costs money
B: time spent in T3 is time not spent on earning Conq gear

Or change the tiers in the rvr areas.

T1 = T1
T2 = T2+3
T3 = T4
T4 = T4

This seems to be well within the devs current ability to do. It would focus lvling players in two tiers and give T4 players even more zones to fight in. Less rinse/repeat than today. It also seems within the devs ability to buff T3 rewards to T4 standards.
