Is it not bannable?
It is banable if you use them to exploit.
And it is banable if your other account is under a ban and you play with your second account.

Apart from that you can have two accounts.
Than it should be bannable :D

How? Asking about realm pride part, not banning.

More you play for 1 realm, more personal RR boost and other rewards. If you change realm you loose the boost.

I think when you start more work on guilds, it will change the situation.

Yeah I pray there is some hope for guild claimed keeps, functional battle banners/standards with working benefits, and an actual reason to be a proud member of some thriving guild, which in turn encourages you to keep playing the side your guild is fighting for.

atm I'm just feeling that our guilds sole purpose is to see who is online, invite guildies into a organized wb, and then maximize killing people...
which is fine in itself, but one can always hope for greater things, considering how warbands/guilds are a game core design. :)

As it was rightly pointed out to me this can be simply exploited by 2 accounts we can't check in timely fashion.

Well, Xrealming is a Problem and we see it during this new Event patch more then ever.

Solution against Xrealming and Support of Long term motivation:
Dont give personal Medals or personal rewards for kills or BOs or Castles.
Give once per week a Realm Reward ( Can be Medals, Items, etc ) to all the Players who have fighted for there realm and make a Top ranking for them, counting there "honor" they have brought in for there Realm where they got rewards (Top 10 get Special rewards)for.
So you will deceide what realm you fight for, cause it will be your counting to Archive rewards once per week and not every couple of hours or minutes.
As Long as you get personal rewards soon after you step in and fight for a realm, you will Switch. When you have a Long term Project, beeing on top of the Heros or in the high league, you will fight for one realm. (at least for your personal choice).
When you win SCs for your Realm you get honor Points, when you win opvp you get Realm Points etc...
Just my 2 Cent to help to find a solution. Counting Realm Points for your Realm to have a weekly Reward and a Monthly Realm Winner.
And for the Realm with the most Points in a month will be a Special Quest line open (like BL Set).

Bonuses to rr/xp, access to certain utilities like say better rated xp cap and rates, cosmetic gear, on the macro level give bonuses to guilds who only play one side, maybe even further bonuses for racial guilds (que footpatrol). Most importantly you need rivalry and competition. But at this stage it will have to be guild based instead of realm, but grounding those guilds to a realm is a bit of a Jerry rigged way of doing it. People need to feel like they are fighting their arch nemises, something with character and history, instead of the soup of random npc like faces that often occurs. Something to make it less about the gear and rr farm and more about wanting to kill x plauers or guild above all else.

I just think enforcing bans on crossrealming will turn into some Orwellian Spanish inquisition nightmare.

Nobody with half a brain crossrealms to the winning side anyways, your current system punishes those players thoroughly.

Be able play in both sides dont is a problem. If some ppl want to play on win side and zerg... well, leave they do... i dont get any fun in kill few guys with a WB and time to time, they will get bored of that. No challenge, no fun at all.
I have lot of char on both sides cos is soo easy lvl when u have AAO and when u dont need anything from locks (bags or medals) u will play just for fun.
Last months, lot of ppl loged off from T4 when one side zergwin to go zergwin in T3 on oposite side... Hope now with new system things change and well, ppl actitude change and stop avoid battles just for easy win and play the game... get fun and meet challenge blattes
