Queue times are already long enough, especially during NA times. We do not need more waiting time. Imo we need at least double the players we have now to implement a system like that and have good queue times.rmpl wrote:It baffles me that t4 isn't exclusively for rank 40s.

I would advise you to make friendly with a tank/healer, level as fast as possible, get ruin gear, and queue exclusively for the pug sc so as to alleviate these concerns (which happen 99% of the time in pug-farming scs). At least in the lolpug sc, you can make a lot of things possible with a good duo.

I think people are focusing too much in the tongue in cheek gear comment instead of the main point.

As far as ruin set goes, not all that interested.
SC's give me a steady income of renown, emblems and exp with my RR ahead (always managed to keep RR ahead). Already got two pieces of merc set (two pieces of the medallion r35 set aswell) and should have the whole set by 35 and RR39 not long after.
Comparing the fun of SC's to grinding PQ's for an inferior set, SC's seem the best idea

Well I empathise with what you said, and it is annoying when people just AFK, but unfortunately this will never change. If you haven't already inferred this from your experiences, then you will soon discover that people in the game are very, very quick to give up if there's so much as a challenge being posed. The route of least resistance is what 90% actively seek, and when this isn't the case, people zone out for 10minutes.

Griefing/AFK in scens is actionable. Contact a GM. We like to abuse our power to force mentality changes.

You are missing the idea of that maybe you are one of the reasons they are going afk. You are throwing the game before they ever did but somehow lack the self awareness to realize it.

Some scs are absolutely a lost cause. You face a team that simply has beaten you, and looking at your own setup you either notice lack of healpower, or lack of survivability or total lack of burst necessary to get any kills done.
The alternatives either become feeding the enemy "free" medals (well they still have to hit you 3-5 times to earn that free medal) or simply throw in the towel and hope the SC ends fast due to enemy domination.
It's pvp. You accept that you win from time to time, and you lose from time to time.
Sure I understand the mentality of wanting to charge in against all odds, but at some point you eventually arrive to the conclusion that your team has no legit way of turning the scenario to a victory.
So you are forced to make decision, have it end fast with your team in WC hoping for the dominating stage, or essentially hand them extra 3-5 medals/emblems freely.
And the only way to get a emblem/medal out of my dead cold body is after a struggle, my corpse ain't gonna be easy loot.
