What are the reasons behind those T2-T3-T4 merges ? Why not just bolster people to 40 when they enter T4 ?

Because there is a whole world in t2 and t3 that you can play through.

T4 already has many zones, and those were designed for T4-like populations..

I see no valid reason for forcing those poor lowbies to play in the competitive world of t4. As T4 a player im tired having to play vs undergeared lowbies that drop so easily. Where is the challenge ? If they want to come, fine.. but else.. well, i feel bad for them
