It makes it so you can pretty much get all the things you want, which pretty much kills the concept of specialization in favour of customization (which leads to meta configurations and actually kills customization as well) all together as well as making it really hard to ballance each path. Imo, there shouldn't ever had been more points then able to Maximize one Mastery path, and the bonus from Mastery levels should also scale exponentially.

This is literally the only time I have ever seen someone complain about having "too many" mastery points.

You read the explanation, why it is bad for the game overall to have too many mastery points?
Dying is no option.

I'm willing to bet the majority of people think they don't have enough, let alone too many.

Wave of Terror, Pulverise and Guillotine all hit harder than Sav abilities.

Impale spam is a nice filler, benefits from Piercing Bite. TB doesn't benefit from Piercing Bite in the Sav tree btw.

You can use Convulsive Slashing, but letting it tick for more than 1 GCD is a dps loss.

Should be running with 60-70% crit (20% talent, 10% from BG, 30%-40% fixed crit). In WL/Sov you'll be able to hit huge strength, like 1300+ from memory or drop thr strength tactic or keep the tactic but fully gem WS.

Brut is the harder hitting spec ability for ability compared to Sav. Provided you bring a BG for armour debuf / 10% crit, you're going to better in a WB setting as Brut.

Ofc people like to get more to get the ideal spec but that's the point of specializations, you can't get all at once.
