The weekend and event sc should have like a 30s surrender timer.

Surrender should be triggered by kill ratio of both teams with some conditions, not just after a certain time.
Dying is no option.

At one point surrender was only usable under certain conditions. If I remember correctly, it never was available when you needed it. I think the current version of it is the best. Four minutes is long enough to not get instant-surrenders, but short enough to keep people interested in queuing even when getting stomped.

I am trying to enjoy the new SC, which could be won by "pugs" against a "premade", BUT my fellow compatriots don't seem to understand how the SC works and surrender rather than spend the time to figure it out. 90% of what I do in this game is SCs and the surrendering is getting out of control. Most of the time it is not "pugs" getting farmed by a "premade", it is low skilled players who don't want to take the time to learn how to play. They die a couple times and want to give up or they don't understand how the SC works. I am not saying get rid of .surrender just change it. There should be no surrender in event SC in my option.

That is a much better post, thank you. Your viewpoint has plenty of merit. Some players would rather give up than try their best to win. Some of the most fun SCs I've been in have been ones we were losing the entire time up until the very bitter end, when we eek out a narrow victory.
