West coat NA latency shouldn’t be that bad if you have a good isp. I was 220-290ms when I lived west coast. Now that I’m east coast I’m between 100-160ms. Now NZ,Aus from what I hear are 300-500ms+

In another major guild (15-30 players on average) the GM quit due to some drama and it never recovered.
I mean, having lost 50+ players is quite noticeable. But yeah mate, I'll tag along, "it's summer lol".

I've been playing this game on and off for 8, nearly 9 years. The population has always been this way lol.. And if you think this is bad. Travel back in time to 2014-2016 when we only had t1-T2 zones open. Population in those first few years during EU prime hit a peak of 250, then 500. Then it hovered around 1.2-1.5k when we had balance changes and new content being added. Then we had the LazyPeon wave that boosted it to around 2k, I think we had a peak of close to 3k. But that only lasted half a year, 3/4 of a year at most before it dropped back to the normal 1.2-1.5k. Since then, there's been little to no new major content updates, no major balance changes, annoying bugs still left unfixed. And this isn't a jab at the devs. They're unpaid volunteers who've done amazing work. But people just get tired and bored of the same thing and eventually leave, some come back. But not enough to grow the population. So yes, there is a slow decline in population. Honestly I'm surprised it hasn't gone faster, we've gone from 1.2k-1.5k 2-3 years ago to 800-1k at peak. The summer tends to cause a 20-30% drop in max population, over the past few weeks the pop has maxed during the week days at around 700 during peak times. NA on the other hand is a different kettle of fish, you've gone from 400 peak to around 300. I've seen population lows at around 150. At that point even SC's stop popping often. In terms of reviving NA pop to better population levels, I've no idea how to do that, all I can say is more content, balance changes etc. But the biggest recruiter for this game has always been word of mouth. If the NA population wants more population, they have to start getting people they know involved in the game.
