i like the old but I really haven't tried this one much yet.

if it's to be all open then i think it's important to make sure there is plenty of indicators that show when BO's are defended or Keeps are being defended, etc. That was it's easy for floaters to join in quickly.

You are so wrong i want to punch my monitor and feed it to my non existent dog.

No matter what RvR change we get, there will always be an underdog. Some of you terribads will always join the zerg and look for easy rewards. The good premades (the ones you all fear) actually join the side with fewer numbers and fight the zerg. I have NEVER seen a good premade riding a zergs tail.

PvP games are balanced by the players. The good players love being challenged and fight against bigger numbers. The bad players QQ in forums and want to take empty zones so they can level an feel "pro".

Last night i prevented a zone lock with 4 other guys (and a level 6 SH lol) against the order zerg. Dont tell me there is no underdog: i AM the undergod 24/7 and i love it.

If you guys want to enter an empty lake and take undefended keeps be my guest, but that isnt what WAR is about. WAR is about seeing a sea of red in front of you and saying "**** it , no regrets, CHARGEEEEEE!!!!".

RoR should really think about their difficulty curve. Do they want 5 year old babies to have fun? Or do they want people to actually FIGHT and work for things? This is a PvP game ffs.... if you enter the lake, you WILL fight enemies. If you dont want to fight, go do PvE (several quests work).

In a RvR game with only 2 factions, there will always be an underdog side and even if it is only for 1 hour per day.
But the "underdog" term is very loose imo.
When there is one premade vs one WB in the area and the premade destroys the pug WB, who is the underdog then?

My problem with the new system is that it is FORCING people to 1 zone.

I understand that it was meant to stop taking empty keeps, but im not sure why it was bothering people so much.
Its a dull and pointless thing (taking empty keeps) and i dont know why people did it with rr being pretty much useless, but you are not forced to do it, and you can still have your rvr.

Im sure it was a decent amount of work creating the new system so if you don't want that to be a waste, how about this:

We keep the new rules in terms of the BOs needed to attack the keep, the reduced timers, and everything , except the part that it is always 1 zone at a time.

That way a small group or even a solo player can prevent the empty keep takes by simply going to the nonzergy zone and fighting at the Bos.

Just an idea

People want their Exp and Renown even if it means they have to switch sides to get the Realm Flip Tick/Defense Tick. Just my personal observation from what I've experienced.

With how keeps give experience now rewarding players for attacking full keeps with plenty of fodder to kill inside, people playing at night (where the population drops to 100) basically stand around and have nothing to do because taking the keep is not worth the trouble and SCs take forever to pop. Personally I really enjoyed the old system fights occurred when they had to and sometimes better strategy lead to less bloodshed but still an equally rewarding experience. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

The only reason it's "Musical Keeps" at the moment is because we just don't have the numbers yet to fully support to T2 zones so that WBs can be spread out between defending keeps and taking Objectives at the same time, that's something that will fix itself over time as the community grows larger.

wow in this post really all is wrong lol

I like the new system, but actually voted for the old one. The reason is pretty simply: The losing faction can't do ANYTHING with the new system, and it kills their moral COMPLETELY, there by destroying the point of the game: To fight.

If it's an 40 vs 20 situation, and you just get destroyed again and again, at some point, people are gonna give up. With the old system, at least you could go to the other zones and try to take something there. It also made it all way more strategic: If you can't beat your enemy, outsmart & outmaneuver them.

nah the old system it were the same people. it just encouraged them to go zone trading. the new system is better.

I dont think RoR has to cater to those people like AOR had to, to survive.

If you think you cant do anything in the new system you didnt grasp its possibilities yet.

But the new system just encourages zerging. How is that better?

And you don't think WAR cater to people who like strategy? Are you for real? Do you even know what Warhammer is?

I did fully grasp it. Don't condescend me, thank you very much. That fact of the matter is, you can't do anything if you don't have the same numbers as the enemy. End of story. Try to take a BO? 30 ppl comes flooding and you all die. GG. How is that amazing?
