Fair enough, I'm more hostile than I need to be. But only in response to seeing your hostility towards the class, bashing it both in game and on here, and towards my own posts.

I made a post about what I thought. You asked for criticism, and got defensive when you received it - focusing on twisting my words and taking shots at me when you've clearly never seen me play. I was a well known, well respected rr100 Magus on Live with a high RR Engi as well. But ultimately I'm not here to toot my own horn or for a pissing contest either.

I do want to see the class balanced - whether that means buffing, nerfing, or doing the same to other classes until it falls in line. And not asking for things that will make others scream NERF!!, never to look into proper balance again. Do you catch my drift?

Your ideas weren't terrible, but they were mostly on the wrong track, and that's all I was saying originally. Calling for a buff is fine, but don't expect everyone to agree with the method. Luckily it got a discussion going which seems to be bringing everything onto the right track (completely despite my own replies), so I can't speak poorly of what you started.

While you fight each other about the future of the magi tell me how it is possible to buff 4th morale in daemonology - great daemon of Tzeentch.

They could give him slayers to wield that spam flurry around them.

But realistically, its a pet, that is bad, its a morale, that is bad, its a 4th morale, that is real bad.

Buffing ai its always a bad idea, hitting the sweetspot is really complicated with them, if they do too much damage its a brainless skill and if they do too little its a useless one, its a morale which is already a long cd exacerbating any problems or advantages it has and on top of it, its a 4th morale, up to 2 minutes of combat to get it and a lot of points invested for it.

So balancing that is a mess that i want no part in, **** that.

Most class specific M4s are very bad in this game (and some of the archetype specific too, e.g. healer M4). They need a serious overhaul in the future.

It doesn't help that tank M4s in particular have to compete with Immaculate Defense, either.

My opinion is that Firewyrm should be removed and replaced. I have no intention of even making it work on RoR.

Just make it a magus pet/turret that does pbaoe around him for up to 1600 damage in 8 seconds, it would be the same **** other M4 for rdps do and at least we keep the demon.

True that, there is few incentives to use an m4 when using any other previous morale, specially m2, will win you the fight.

M4's are zerg/noob killers for the most part.

@epo bringed indeed something constructive, what is the role of magus and how should be balanced.

I speak regard the issue which some ppl what the game balance around 6vs6 and someother around
24 vs 24. (which i'm in between)
It also mean make magus/engi aoe more/less powerfull than a sorc/bw bomb/ due to his spam nature in consideration of their role.

There is also another point that emerged from previusly posts and it's something that i wonder too from some times;
MAgus/engi have too many dots to apply---->which give them a too few time-space window between apply and use st or aoe damage skills before they have again o re-apply those dots.
Which mean thay can bring sorc/bw damage on the table but they need all their dots and also use st or aoe skills, which is impossible to do consistency due how much dots lasts and get fastly cleanse.

Maybe increase 2x damage and 2x timer on every dot (mean same damage x second but they last long), would help them deliver their damage better. With out alter the damage spike they alredy can reach with the dots + active skills stack.
Or also make tools like pull more accesible moving them down in the paths to allow more cross between paths to give more tools to magus/engi significatively increase their role on the field.

I'm not usre I get your math tesq.
Frag grenade makes 800 damage over 15 secs.
So your idea is 1600 Damage over 30 secs. right?

Meaning damage per sec is identical.
But as far as I know there are dot cleansing on destro side with a cooldown of 5 secs.
Making it rather pointless if the frag grenade had 10 or 25 secs left before it was cleansed.

My knowledge of the destro healers is rather limited. Can someone please support my assumtion or negate it?

Sad. Firewyrm seems so cute, big ultimate daemon...
