I still don't understand why you hate pounce so much. Literally almost no one complained about it on live in t4 because wl's were easily replaced by slayers. There were more magi than wl's in t4 lol. You are judging the class based on our cap being 26. Wait until 40 and then you'll feel silly about all the complaints.

Edit: BC if we're going to base everything on 26...well magus are horrible and could use a major buff (: but that would be silly because they become better in t4 (sorry t3 is decent but not powerful enough :X)

for once i see what the OP is saying, and by OP i mean Coryphaus. He is saying that IF WLs get fixed and are buffed that pounce needs to be looked at and I kinda agree with him. If the classes AP issues, tree issues, and utility issues are fixed pounce could become a very powerful ability. My suggestion would be to make it the 9 point ability, bring down the armor debuff, put a 5 sec CD on it and raise its AP cost. THAT IS IF THEY GET BUFFED FIRST and Im talking about a serious over haul. My idea of balance is that there should not be a meta, all classes should be viable in all types of fights. I shouldnt have to bring a set group of classes to a 6v6. It should be more fluid and based off the players you bring. Not their class.

Overhauling the entire class would require a lot of resources & a lot of time. You can't just simply patch white lions. It would depend on the current devs, but I doubt they want to spend their entire time reworking an entire class.

I am moderately glad to see that this thread has taken off and a lot of suggestions have been posted. For those of you wondering, all these modifications should be made in response to a completed game, not what we have right now at level 26 cap.

Interestingly enough if you look through all the pages you can see the classes most debated about. Usually about 1-2 abilities that the class has being useless or over tuned somehow. A lot of talk about WLs lately, with pounce being the debated topic. From this thread we can see that WLs are semi-reliant on it for closing a gap, and we can see what other classes are reliant on as well by reading suggestions.

Anyways thank you all for participating, keep on suggesting.

You shouldn't even consider trying to solve WL's issues without being able to change the client.

That class is a wreck and pretty much anything you could hope to do to solve that, either AP cost modifications or ability redesigns, requires much more access than we've presently got.

it would be cool see engi/magus do good dps but have the magus more mobile and engi more durable.
But it require a lot of rework i think
