Re: Mdps talismans WS vs. Str vs. Armor???
Keep in mind that as a Slayer gets his rage on his Armor and Resistances get lowered. If your wanting to do anything for defense you should be looking to parry which is linked to weapon skill. Also, toughness and wounds are things to consider when beefing up a bit. Just don't neglect your strength as it not only increases your damage, but reduces your foes chance to parry you.

It helps by only a tiny amount once you have a reasonable amount of strength.Bozzax wrote:Str counts for avoidance that is why you max it first. Having your snare,hd,kd not being avoided is what counts.
For example, assume your target has 350 weapon skill and your strength is 700. Then their parry is
parry% = 7.5% x weapon skill / strength = 3.75%
Compare that with 900 strength:
parry% = 7.5% x 350 / 900 = 2.92%
So adding 200 strength gave you an extra 0.8% bypass. That's negligible.
It makes more difference against s/b tanks and toons with higher weapon skill, but the effect is still very small.
