With more and more scens changed with barriers without save spot to back off surrender vote is quite important.
Oldschool scens when enemy push you to your wc, near guards where healers are safe you still can fight and take kill or two cos the backline is secure.
Nowadays with barrier favors scens you being stomped without anychance to do whatsoever so ppl surrender
No guards means that you idle behind the barrier till sc is over. I prefer that to be 4 mins instead of 15

Very true! The barrier makes it really hard to fight back. No guards, no cannons, and RDPS can't attack. I wonder why it was changed.

Just make it so the surrendering team gets a 3 minute lockout before they can queue again. Then the 'Stronger' team gets to fight someone else hopefully and also people will think a little bit harder about surrendering

I share this view, and I believe all scenarios (assuming it's feasible/possible) should have an open spawn protected by guards.

Without an open spawn, players will simply choose to wait in spawn rather than feeding the other team kills, and frankly I cannot blame them for it.

With open spawn, players have at least a retreat option rather than facing certain death upon leaving the spawn.

With barrier after 1st wipe half of the ppl dont even bother. When you got chance to go to guarded wc ppl at least tend to fight. So at the end barriers do the opposite of what it is suppose to do - promoting fights. Much less fights and more surrending.
So yea not a fan of barriers, battle of praag was one of my favs, now I dont even queue it since is hidding simulator. No thanks

Since long time I disagree with the implementation of barriers to "protect" the spawn. Their effect is quite the opposite, they weaken the already weaker side even more. They should be removed in all SC but city siege. In certain SC their might be a need to add some obstacle in spawn as cover against enemy rdps. Guards should be added back again.
Dying is no option.

Haha made me laugh hard. Another premade ****** who wants easy kills vs. Low gear pug. But hey when they learn how to play they can win... this Game is not about skill, maybe after gear and class composition. And why dont you go play ranked if you are so skilled?

How about lowgear premade vs highgear pugs with random setup? I would bet on the premade.
You lose, when you have less coordination than enemy team, no matter the gear.
Before someone complains about premades, they should fix all misplay.

Sounds fun i would bet on the high geared pug. Another question whats low geared for you?ruin becouse ruin conq is common gear in random pugs? Vs. Sov pug good luck on that 😂
