I disagree. The problem is rooted in current mechanics.

Also they cannot fix the sc system and never will. The issue is as i say mechanical.

This is because 2/2/2s are so tanky they cannot score kills on one another. Its why ranked is dead because the experience is horrible. They would never tolerate playing games vs other .2.2.2s

What tf does "if u heal while detaunted" is even suppose to mean? So if DPS/healer uses detaunt on healer it's now an outgoing healdebuff as well??? Seems mildly broken and weird to turn a defensive skill into an offensive one.

Or do you mean that every healers detaunts also add undispellable 25-50% outgoing healdebuff on themselves, which makes 0 sense(also idk if ror can link active debuffs on two targets like if the detaunt gets dispelled would the outgoing healdebuff on you be as well?) , even just for pve you have to detaunt every once in while due to aggro switch and now you lose up to half your healing for 15s.

Also why do you think that removing/reducing defences would make any difference to pug vs premade situation, the premades would just go for more dmg like 1-3-2 and blow up ppl even faster.

Things that would add more counterplay to entrenched defensive 2/2/2s

I would Probably add some morales for smallscale to help people get kills in sc as well. And I would make it so flags in sc are capped by clicking not player weight to allow splitpushing against...you guessed it premade 2/2/2s that you cannot so much as scratch

I wouldn't break the system though

I dont think the issue is guard, as mentioned here previously I think healing is too strong.

Strikethrough changes, Shield/bubble spam, and potency of BIS heals have been increased healer durability, while crit rates were lowered. BW/Sorc were nerfed. and crit vs bubbles fundamentally made it easier for healers to dominate.

This is not to mention all the other subtler ways that healers have been overtuned.

We are in a game state where all other classes explode, because DPS are being balanced around needing to kill healers, whom can spec purely defensive because they are not Multi-attribute dependant and can just focus all their tech on defense.

I personally would prefer a lower damage game-state where healers arent as potent, and other classes didnt need to spec pure glass just to hurt healers. TTK seems faster now than on live...with Warpforge.

I think the healdebuff from detaunt idea is flawed but it doesn't mean there isn't a problem with 2/2/2 dominance and an overly defensive nature.

I proposed that idea because healers have no drawback to using detaunt and spamming heals, but dps are forced to stop attacking a detaunted target and can no longer aoe.

Btw dont reply telling me its fine and i must download discord, form a 6 man and do a timing punt and healer silence combo so i can kill a squig herder in sc please
