Re: 2026 Developer Roadmap

I'm almost tempted to be optimistic.
On paper, these announcements seem to be moving in the right direction. However, past experiences with various class changes (what did you do to that poor Slayer.🤮..?), the weapon rework, and so many other issues over the years encourage a more cautious approach.
That said, it's important to acknowledge the effort that's been put in, and despite my skepticism, I have to say : well done.
One thing, though once again, you've forgotten the true endgame of RoR: Fashionhammer!

RvR Campagaign Changes sound nice, hopefully the abysmal RvR state of age of blobhammer will get better as a result.

Talk about new weapons, ranged classes balance changes...but i can't help but notice, that no talk about invader sets (which have fallen more and more out of favor compared to other sets) getting an overhaul.

Is that something that will happen in the future (however distant that may be) , or can i finally put my foolish ambitions in that regard to rest? Alongside those of hoping to be able to get rid of rested XP for characters, that haven't hit CR40 yet?

PS :Fomo Rings returning once more, which are still tied to a once a year event, is still one of the worst decisions ever made when it comes to RoR :)

It is really good to hear the team is going back to the older campaign city stuff, this was much needed and can't come soon enough. The current model drained all the fun out of it.

Best RoR news in years tbh.

P.S.
There is an opportunity here to expand for more more pvp progression for endgame toons rr +80, rewarding veteran players that are willing to put in the effort has always been an important part of any grind/mmo. I think this server has been to casual friendly with the merging of currency and everything easily accessible and with city returning perhaps in time this could be explored further ( like it has been discussed so many times in different threads).

The communication is much appreciated. Just a note on scenarios.

The WC barriers need to be removed. I like the changes to matchmaking, but removal of barriers is more important. They need to go as soon as possible.

We love this game.

First of all, I would like to thank the team for their work and effort, especially for announcing the things that are coming, which really helps boost player morale.

I sincerely hope the changes arrive soon, and I am very encouraged to know that the decision has finally been made to bring city sieges back as the “goal” of the campaign. I just hope they return to having random times as before, so that players like us who are not prime EU or NA also have a chance to play them. That said, I would like to once again express my gratitude for the team’s effort. I wish I could help in some more direct way.

And I think the +25 talismans are a good idea to motivate people to keep playing beyond RR80. Perhaps they are a bit expensive, but I imagine everything is still in development.

Forgive me if I be rude in any way, English is not my first language. That said, I think I should share the reason I left the game: The pve made me feel like I was no match for those who have friends and like to spend 3 HOURS doing a dungeon! I used to play solo most of the time, and being a solo player the chance to find a party to do dungeon is very hard and even harder if the dungeon be LV. I know I dont need any pve piece but bloodlord weapons, but I have all 24 classes and spend 1 or 2 hours doing dungeons with every class was ok, but, LV is too damn huge! I wanna the cool stuff but I dont want to spend my whole night in a dungeon! Gunbad is other problem. It's BORING! Was nice before the rework, 1 hour and done, now many mechs, many things, many stuff.... man this is a PVP game u.u
But it's oke this is just me QQing. What I'd like to see in this game to bring me back is

- Renew the PVP lake, with new ideas and things to do
- RDPS rework and then a review over all classes to match them. But we need to be real here, balance will never happen, because the main mechanic of the game, with gives it's personality. Every class is diferent. And this should be taken like a golden rule (yes you guys killed WL and gave pounce to others  ). All I'd like to see then is a meta rotation, every 3 months or so. This would make players try all classes and have fun knowing your prefered class would be the next meta soon.
- New visuals. One of the things I hate most in this server is the wipe of the items visuals. On live we have mixed classes visuals, like zealot had a BW chest, DOK had a Sorc chest et cetera. There is nothing to do when we hit 80 but being fashionista! Give us some GLAM gurls pls!
