But this is a different thing that most people here are arguing, look what you are replying to, he is asking how is it effective and you reply mostly says that is not at all.Penril wrote:This applies to so many skills it is not even funny. People are painting pounce and wls as some kind of havoc machine they suffer every day and a staple of the order sieges, when its nothing more than a "win more" card that doesnt do **** unless order were already going to rolfstomp you as soon as the door went down.
So if we are discussing how gimmicks should be mirrored, i am up for it, give pounce to someone but understand that will mean sooner or later Order will want a TE mirror.
And no, fetch is not one.

Every MDPS gets Pick Lock with a 5m(?) cooldown. It was never that difficult to keep the MDPS inside the keep alive with Pick Lock pushes because group heal doesn't require Line of Sight.

Give Sorcs a ranged kd.
Give SM/BO some grp utility.
Make Rampage and SL single target.

what the point of lock pick even now whith the way keeps work with the blob of chap mob npcs on the bottom floor? if any mdps try and go in to pressure healers or something, the enemy can just hide inside the chap mobs and the mdps can do nothing cause if they aggro them they will just dieUchoo wrote:

Also, PL does not let you immediately stop AoE nuke spam from atop walls. It puts you 100% o/o/LoS to healers and in enemy territory. Bit different. One Mandred's, we got thru the front doors and lined up a crew at the back door to annihilate any Ordies coming in that way to Def their keep. Was grt fun.
Spite in Elf d/n even have a working back door a night ago, when we owned the keep. Had to keep running to main door in front of enemy WB every time I got punted/pulled off or killed.
Come and get one in the yarbles, if ya have any yarbles, you eunuch jelly thou!

I do not know if it works currently.
Perhaps my comparison is a bit of date. In T4 with Medium gear, MDPS could easily solo the champ mobs and skirmish pretty effectively soaking group heals from a couple of healers.
However, I think that conceptually, it is fair to say that being able to Pounce onto walls isn't fair to other MDPS.
