Most premades dont want to get involved in scs because well, there is nothing to get from there, believe it or not, progressing is what keeps people playing and they dont progress at all in scs.

You cant put a set most people dont want between a ridiculous grind and expect the scs to be heavily populated.

How exactly do devs discourage people from doing SCs? They gave us a pug SC. They gave us 1 emblem for every 100 points you have (used to be zero when losing).

What am i missing?

As to the suggestion, no.

Why cherry pick ONE SC? Also the devs have made it clear they have no desire to further reward SC's.

Seems strange and counter-productive to over-reward ONE SC and turn it into an emblem farm

I like the proposal. Double renown would not be a very big incentive, as renown gain in scs is super low anyways. I think perhaps something like 12-2 is more reasonable. Double what would normally be had, but not so much that pugs queueing Isha and EC for welfare emblems becomes the norm.

For what it's worth, I am not sure what it would hurt to at least give 15/5 a trial. Having been actively involved in group v group, and trying to promote it for years, it is not a number I came up with on the spot, and genuinely think it would serve as a good placeholder while we assess its effects.

If people see groups exploiting it (as per Penril's post), report them. Also, a biggie: people looking for the route of least resistance don't tend to join Isha/EC!. Such people will probably stick to the pug and normal SC, happy that they won't have to face as many premades as before. The 6v6 community know eachother pretty well, and there is an element of honour (be it unwritten or otherwise): people caught deliberately avoiding fights would be reported, I am fairly certain of that.

I think it needs to be at least 5 emblems for the loser, otherwise you may as well just queue a normal scenario and avoid the hassle altogether. The intent of this is to both promote groupplay and motivate newer groups.

/5 LFM for free emblem farming afking 6 man scenarios

I get a solo person trying to game the system, afking in an sc or sitting on a BO for free stuff.
But getting an entire grp to this? You really have no faith in the Community.

Now the real issue is when a grp goes in and gets stomped within the first minute and then sits at the spawn for the rest of the match.
So put in a condition that if domination kicks in losing side gets existing rewards. Right?

Still don't think this would grant much incentive for people to form groups and join premade scs. I think the point of peter's post is to substantially increase the number of 6man groups queuing... So right now you might have 1 premade per side that's queuing during NA (sometimes you'll only get 1 premade total). If the goal is to have, say, 3-4 groups per side queuing, this would incentivize that.
