That was really fast to reverse. @Secrets maybe you should main a Choppa so we finally get the buff we deserve to compete with Slayers.

Great transparency and honestly refreshing with the two team-member quotes on the matter. It makes mistakes much more understandable, and I personally wish the patchnotes would have more of a reasoning attacted to them. nothing too major, just a little line of
"this ability seemed to have too much uptime hence why we increased the cooldown"
Class identity is a nice area to balance around when its severely lacking, and I am honestly glad Chosen finally got some attention on the area. Eventhough I really dont know what to think of the new version, but with no instant "holy moly, what did they do!?" reaction atleast its not over tuned in either aspect I guess. Chosen having to crit though, dunno..(change points from Futilestrike into critchance?)
Thematicly it seems to fit in, so theres that.
I hope the TEam is motivated on the project still, becase as a fairly longtime member of the ror player commuity this sort of transparency just makes you feel safe once again on a private server(bad image)

Or maybe CRIT CHANCE is offensive stat that need to work in Offensive tree and let Defensive tree work on devensive stats like parry/blockoaliaen wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 4:22 pm IF you make offensive condition to proc, you should giv ways to get a decent amount of crit chance on Chosen class.. Maybe cause Deamonclaw increase STR and its a 'offensive' stats ?

this change to to corruptive power makes it very likely to be overpowered in 6v6 by the way.

The Chosen tactic Corruptive Power should be on the left tree as the middle tree now contains 'Oppression' that now requires a shield to use, meaning you cannot gain the 15% crit tactic as you will not be 2 hander (left tree). Without that tactic you will struggle to crit anything especially if you are going as a shield tank where crit is not a stat you will ever focus on. Only 2h tanks and people doing 6v6 will use this, but still feels like its in the wrong tree or needs to be changed.

excuse me, but do you represent the critical hit from the SHIELD tank?
This is completely pointless - the shield tank never implements this tactic.
If we take into account the DPS build, then almost no one uses this tree
the chosen has nothing in the first tree in order to Buff group - (unlike cotbs) - it turns out pointless
Based on my experience playing DPS and Shield Chosen and communicating with my colleagues - I think the following would be ideal -
"Any time you receive critical damage, all members of your group within 100 feet, except you, will gain a blessing that reduces their chance to be critically hit by 15% for 5 seconds"
this will be the best option to counter a order stack of crits
Order rdps have many crits, meleetrain of slayers in meta have lot dps ignore defence.
Let chosen be good tank in wb
