Re: Hard mode option for Dungeons

People are so quick to say, "this is a pvp game bro" but forget/or just don't know that you get some of the best gear for gearing your off-spec before being able to wear sov/warlord.

If you came to this post to show your ignorance of an alternative gearing system within the game, please say nothing at all and carry on.

Very ambitious ideas from OP, although the staff and developer time is limited- some of these ideas could be written on a sticky note and perhaps implemented in two weeks when LV drops.

Is Reward what you really want ?
challenging play itself is concept of hard mode and driving carrot.
mission complete reward is secondary.
it's xp and gear that helps you to prepare next challenge better.
not a shortcut to reduce grind.

look at the fps, rts games.
you are same. targets get better AI, faster, more durable in hard mode.

if you need more challenge, try with 1 heal or 1 tank.
or go with undergeared first trainee.
finishing with half team dead or doing 2mens work, that's challenge.
hitting dummies longer is not.

you said pve is easy.
just curious, how did you learn dungeon mechanics.
ppl telling you or thru testing,
knows why do A and B, alternatives, improvises ?

let me think about it, higher lvl mobs might give chance to learn it anew.
ive been prioritizing my game time doing Pve for a couple of years now when im not leveling a new tank, been doing full gunbad runs 3 times a day and if i had more time or if the sun isnt about to raise i could squeeze in 2 full BS runs. yes Pve to my experience is easy to some extents. world exploration, world named NPCs like heroes can be soloed at the same level given if you have talismans and time your potions and abilities, sacellum and sewers can be completed as a duo of 2 people needing keeper set, Gunbad left and right can be completed as duo, BB/BE and C&T can be completed as an incomplete party of 3 or 4, BS can be done as a full group of 4 but can also be completly done with 3 dps 1 tank 2 healers

ok i see you ventured a lot of depths in pve.
guess only left to conquer is carrying trainees. if you care any kind of challenge.

thats not really a challenge now is it. that sounds more like a charity "only left to conquer is carrying". hard mode is to add another layer of difficulty to players who are experienced with the dungeons, players who feels like doing pve but wants a challenge without having to limit their own potential and without being grouped up with people who aren't in the same level of playing field.
