Ofc not.shoelessHN wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2026 3:57 pmI thought the carrot was "a balanced sc where you now have a tank and healer on every team". Was that not enough!?lemao wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2026 8:52 am New system itself is fine.
But now you really need a carrot to make people queueing.
People who believed that are deluded.
Why should the average player risk having an even fight in a sc when you can just zerg blob/surf and gain more crests and renown that way ?
From a progression standpoint doing rvr is just way more rewarding unfortunately.

Re: SCs dying
I'm curious to see what the data looks like regarding the situation with SCs 2-3 months before and 2-3 months after the patch, how many people were playing, and how many scenarios were played during that period.
Re: SCs dying
I’m a late EU-time player myself. I usually log in around 22:30 Altdorf time, and from time to time I also get a bit of free time in the morning to play scenarios.
I’m lucky enough to play the game with my wife, and we really enjoy queueing for scenarios together. But since the patch was released, it has become very difficult for us to make use of those little 15–20 minute windows we have. Before, we could queue together and would usually get a pop within a few minutes, normally no more than 5. Right now, trying to get both of us into the same scenario is almost impossible during non-prime EU hours. Very often we have to wait 20–30 minutes just to be able to play one together, which means we simply cannot play unless we say, “Let’s spend 2 hours doing scenarios.” In that case, maybe we will get 3 or 4 pops, but trying to play a single scenario as a duo when you only have 20 free minutes is basically impossible outside EU prime time.
And not to mention that making a full 6-man group for scenarios is practically impossible now. It is not just the difficulty of finding 6 players who want to do it, it is that the scenarios do not even pop reliably. Because of that, people would rather not even bother trying to build groups. Serious question: what group composition is actually better for getting SCs to pop, 2-2-2 or 1-3-2?
I do not know how it is during EU prime time, but for those of us who cannot play at that time, scenarios are now almost impossible to play because they do not start within a reasonable time.
