The thing is all PQ's worked like that before isn't it the only difference is that the set is now useful so your statement isn't quite right. Yes it is alpha but this wipe is just a double punch in the face for those who did the PQ.

First they get ripped by afks and then devs come in and delete the rest you still got.

2) Multiple Loot.... Is there ANYTHING you can do about making it less probible to get duplicates?! I just feel BAD when I get a third chest piece thinking some other guy could have gotten it, OR I could have gotten what I actually needed instead....

Its possible I can make some kind of trade system, but it wont be immediate as will need to plan it out and pretty busy atm, perhaps at a ratio of 2 unwanted peices for a desired piece or something.

Just an idea to throw out there, but maybe make those items tradeable to people who were also in that WB at the time of the drop? That would also encourage people to group up in wb's for PQ's Or alternatively, put it to a /roll system within said WB?

Damn, feel bad for yall. I did like 6 rounds of pqs and got 2 ruin pieces. Couldn't imagine doing 50+. While I was doing the pqs in praaag I noticed there were at least 4 or 5 people just afk while we were completing it so I think this is a good wipe and hopefully can help prevent loot being placed in the wrong hands. Good job guys!

Holy crap this is a good move! Glad you guys decided this. I hate to use the "W" word, but it was totally necessary. And I have as many hugs and shoulders to cry on as needed for the poor afk'ers. Now must grind more SC's for the set.

I really do feel sorry for everyone that actually worked hard to get their Ruin gear. There were just so many people hiding away in corners, or even blatantly standing there in broad daylight, leeching bags that should have gone to more deserving players, that the GM team couldn't even cope with it.
When I logged on yesterday I got 4 reports in 5 minutes, and I wasn't even the only GM on at the time.

I hope that the new contribution system will make sure that the people who deserve it get the gear they lost with the wipe back quickly.

What does ruin look like for BOs? Something new or like standard t4/5 gear like conq etc.? I just want to know if I should farm for the looks or nah

I Agree with this Decision. Hopefully Rolls will be added for healers, as I seem to never place for a roll when strictly healing.
