Soon ™

If theres a throttling issue with the ISP, or colocation hardware it could take a while to get someone A. Educated enough to track it down, or B. Someone who has the will to track it down, to get the throttling issue fixed (As im assuming that its throttling, and not faulty hardware)

I have been lurking around for a bit. First time post. I tend to lurk.

Thank you for making it possible to play a game I truly missed again. I have played a lot of MMO's...this is the only one I miss (I miss the people from EQ more than I miss EQ).

I will wait as long as it takes and keep checking back without asking for a status and a little part of does a little happy dance just to check the forums .... because Up or Down? It will be up and possible to play. And that makes me happy.

So thank you for the work...and thank you for sharing a status with us.

FYI....to all my future gaming playmates....sorry I suck. It was clear to me in the few days I got to play...that I am sorely out of practice. I have been playing ARPG's which are faster play and allow for less time to think...so thinking is ever so much fun....

That said I have been playing a healer in MMO's since 1999...and a good one at that..

did ddos exploit those stuff you found or in the end something good came out of ddos and you saw some flaw that didn't catch your attention before?

As said, it is harder than expected + IRL obligations and sadly we can't give any Eta for that, it could be tonight (don't hope to much), tomorrow or next week...

My abilities are near 0 to answer that. I will get some infos about it, but as far i know ddos doesn't exploit anything. To make a simple image, a DDOS attack works like a ram. You can hit a keep door with your single chosen and nothing will happen (usual login use) or use ram and the door will fall. DDOS flood connections and saturate everything, nothing else.
