As said, it is harder than expected + IRL obligations and sadly we can't give any Eta for that, it could be tonight (don't hope to much), tomorrow or next week...

My abilities are near 0 to answer that. I will get some infos about it, but as far i know ddos doesn't exploit anything. To make a simple image, a DDOS attack works like a ram. You can hit a keep door with your single chosen and nothing will happen (usual login use) or use ram and the door will fall. DDOS flood connections and saturate everything, nothing else.

yes, i talked about the webdesign to prevent posts regarding ETA. as the login is down, people have to come to the website. informing them straight with every new browser session is the solution to fix your problem

the only thing to say - not today and not in the observed future. according to all that have been said you can see that we have human factor takes its turn and all of us have real life, devs too.
IRL me when saying to someone - 'i cant say you ETA' or 'asap', i mean i didnt touched the thing or i dont know how to do that and i have to find some decisions. Especially things with computers and electronics that didnt take too much time to be configured, anything on that cant take 2 weeks. so we can make a statement, that its only human factor.
You guys do not have to do it at all, you do not owe us. But you can inform us as frankly as it possible, i think all of us will understand any circumstances and ofcourse IRL business.
So that thing keeping us in a dark makes us to look for other games. Also you become too agressive with that topics about UP/DOWN.
We re all just want to manage our time, cause that game is MUCH MORE than a simle game and nothing else.

Thanks for update, Yali. Many thanks to the entire ROR team for the time an energy you have invested to bring back Warhammer!

It seems like there are a number of people who overlook the fact that the ROR team are a small group of individuals pouring in loads of hours in their free time to make this available (for free) to the rest of us. They have families, jobs and other things to tend to in real life.

The team have informed us that the server is unavailable and there are some challenges in bringing it back online. There are 57 messages all over the site saying the server is down and yet a few messages a day still show up asking what is wrong with the servers.... I can't blame them for being irritated that these sort of messages continue. Be patient, go outside, take care of some projects you have been putting off and know that when they can provide an ETA there will be one.

IF it is your job and if you are getting a salary yes you have to give an ETA.
But even then something out of the ordinary, out of your paper plans might go wrong and that might set you back in your plans. This is why usually the ETA someone gives is much later than the true time he really needs to finish the job. Just to be sure that even if things go wrong he will have this covered.
That is something that everybody that works in jobs that fixes something know from 1st hand.
When someone say that he cannot give an ETA and he does this thing on his spare time because it just makes him smile, you will have to understand also that this person will have to put things as real life work and real life before the thing that you want an ETA. So when someone say i cannot really give an ETA if you cannot accept it then you should move on. Especially if that someone is not getting money or something else from you.
The only ETA i am waiting to see is it will be ready when it will be ready. I can accept that perfectly under all the above circumstances.
And yes i do also refresh the forum page around 100 times per day.

I perfectly agree on the 1st sentence. Inform us. Please do. Even if things go the bad way. Let us understand and not being blind and start imagining things with our heads.

I also agree on the not become aggressive. Put a pop up or something that always appears that can also bypass adblockers, and if there is still someone that is asking, and there will be just ignore. Just do not answer.

I would like to say thanks for the update. I just hope i could also help in some way.

Insanely frustrated that the game is down as I am having withdrawal symptoms, but you guys have been doing - and are continuing to do - a splendid job under difficult circumstances with a team of people that do this in their spare time and out of the kindness of their hearts.

Not going to complain in any shape or form, but instead log-on when the game comes back and show my support by actively playing it and reporting bugs wherever I can.
